I'm not sure if you're aware, but if you want to know more about him Jarlaxle is actually a preexisting character in the Forgotten Realms, just like Volo, Xanathar, etc. He was made by R.A. Salvatore in the Legend of Drizzt series. Every dm puts their own twists on premade npcs but Jarlaxle has already had a lot of book content. I should know. I own and have read all of books, and Jarlaxle is my favorite fictional character.
