If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend reading Ryan's book. It helped me understand a lot of what I was dealing with internally. Absolutely couldn't put it down.

When I was going through a major depressive disorder, I read. A lot. It's somewhat soothing, taking your mind off of your own mind. I read two books about others' struggles with depression.
One critically acclaimed book is "Prozac Nation" by Elizabeth Wurtzel. She is a fantastic writer, and her struggle with depression put so much perspective on my own. Another was "The Shame of Me, One Man's Journey to Depression and Back" by Ryan Lefebrve.
Reading them didn't cure my depression, but gave me great insight.
Good luck.
Yup. And his occasional battery-mate in the broadcast booth, Ryan Lefebvre, has made his battle with depression fairly public.
There's a Royals joke in there somewhere.
