They trick here is that the mirror just hangs on a hook so you can pull it off and warm it up by running it under the water or rinse it off easily. Been using it for over a year now and it's great. Mirror stays clean that way too. The mirror fogs because it's a different temp than the surrounding air - this makes the mirror the same temp.
I used to have a one suctioned to the wall of the shower and it was a bit of a pain.
I use this one. You hold it under the shower for a couple seconds to warm it up, and then you hang it on its supplied sticky hook. No fog. It's only $10 and is acrylic so it won't shatter.

I've used this fogless shower mirror for a bit over a year now. You just rinse it under hot water to equalize the temperatures and the fog doesn't accumulate for a few minutes. When it does, just rinse again. It works surprisingly well.

A shower mirror might help.
