This speech has been turned into a book called "The Speech" by Bernie Sanders, its a great read if you don't want to watch the 8 hour video.

I remember quite well Bernie Sanders actually getting up and performing a filibuster.

The procedure itself is not a problem. The problem lies in why it's being used.

A filibuster is no more evil than a sledge hammer. What matters if it's being used to help or hurt the american public.
