As a couple ,go to a local bookstore, head to the sexuality / reproductive health section. Pick out some largish book (like this one I found searching around my parents bedroom as a curious young teen with a lot of pictures and descriptions. Get something both of you like - hell, get two or three.

The front sections will probably involve something on the order of foreplay - massages, fingering, oral, etc - start with that until you get better. Then use the rest of the books (funky positions, oral, anal, bondage, etc) as inspiration. Every few nights, grab one book out, flip to random pages until you hit one you'd both be willing to try and then go for it.

Get a little bit of added thrill by way of where you store the books. Hide them under the mattress like a teen trying to keep mom from finding his first Playboy; stick in at the bottom of the wife's lingerie drawer and then you can tell her to dig it out from under her unmentionables; or just leave them in the open on the nightstand because fuck it - you're comfortable with your sexuality being out in the open.
