I am reading a book called Urantia which claims to be the 5th major revelation to mankind (Jesus was the 4th). A sleep talking man who had accessed his super-conscious mind in life couldn't be awakened by his wife whenever he would sleep-talk. 200 psychiatrists were eventually attracted to this Chicago man in 1925. The man said 2000 pages worth of knowledge bombs. The Psychiatrists recorded everything and checked for discrepancies over the years and could not find any. They finally published it. This book is intensly intelectual so its not an easy read but its extremely informative. I just finished half of it. The last half is all about Jesus. The first 3 parts are about the entire universe, our evolution from pre-sun to now, plus a large chunk of our history and how we lived back in the day. I think this is the most important book on earth right now but if it was fake, its the best hollywood script every written. Personally I am sure its real.

The book is named after Urantia, which is the real name of our planet, it is authored by celestial beings, each pertaining to different hierarchies of administrative orders of the universe, it was written by using a human contact personality who remains unknown to date. The first edition of the book was released in the year 1955.
In my personal case, I stumbled upon it after reading some other related books, nobody told me about it, it took me more than 4 years to complete mainly because it demands a LOT of attention and I read some other books in between, I must warn you: it is not an easy reading, but you don´t need to read it from start to end in that specifical order, you can just grab a chapter you´re interested in and just read it.
One of the main things that grabbed me to the book is that in no way it tries to convince you or to persuade you to join to any religion, it is a somewhat cold presentation of facts written in an extremely convincent fashion that you may take or leave based in your personal experience and mind aperture.

I recommend the Urantia Book. It has given me much more than the Bible could ever offer.
