Most really rugged watches will be durable, like a Casio G-Shock. The Casio DW-5600 is excellent for that. I'll make a list of some other options!

At the moment I go back and forth between two watches, but I'd certainly like to have more for more occasions.

I wear this one for work.

And this one for everything except work.

I'd say my style is definitely simple looking watches with white faces. Anyone have any other recommendations in that style?

Silver case, white face

Most versatile. You can switch out the straps easily.

The font on the Xentum is pretty unique. If that's what you like most about the watch I'm not sure where to point you. That said, the Timex weekender has a similar simple white face and you could easily swap in a red nato strap for another $15 bucks. I'd recommend a Seiko809 over the Timex because I feel like it's better bang for your dollar but, to my knowledge, they do not offer it with a white face.

Something about that watch sorta reminds me of this Braun watch but I'm not sure swapping the strap would be as easy/possible.

You can usually get them at Target/Walmart for around $30 or $35 in the US but I see them go from $30 to $20 on Amazon every now and then. Just wait a bit. If you're really desperate sometimes certain styles or colors go onto those price drop sites for $15. Usually someone here will link them if that happens.

Do you think I should just opt for this Weekender instead? For some reason I just can't get 100% on board with the nylon strap. But if the quality is superior to the pleather easy reader straps then I'd consider getting that. Sorry for my ignorance. This is my first time purchasing a watch of any kind so I'm just looking for something versatile and simple.

I would think either stainless, or some rubber / silicone strap.

Since you mentioned a chunky bezel, I tend to think of the Citizen Promaster Diver. It is a brushed finish and comes on a polyurethane strap, and is usually around $150.

If you just want a beater watch that you can replace if you damage it, it is hard to top the Timex Weekender for $30, but you might want a silicone strap for it, so clean up isn't an issue with the nylon. The Barton silicone straps are under $15 and easy to remove if you need to clean the lugs.

I feel like a Timex Weekender is a pretty common suggestion for an inexpensive watch, and it definitely works on small wrists. I think I've seen them go on sale for as low as $20 on Amazon.

I have this one. In case the link doesn't work as I intend, it's the one with the blue and yellow nylon strap. That face is more casual, because of the relatively large numbers (and the fact that they are there at all).
