I got some hot pepper flakes from Trader Joe's. It came in 3 small bottles. One was ghost pepper, one was scorption, and the other was something similar, maybe carolina reaper? Anyway, as insanely hot as you'd expect, and it wasn't absurdly expensive.
This is it on amazon, but I'm pretty sure it was closer to $10 in the store.

TJ's doesn't get them until about November, and it's hard to find there after New Years. I keep asking about their Triple Threat pack, but it looks like they aren't going to do that again.
