Buy a travel set like you see in the link. Available everywhere I think. Pour the stuff you wanna take with you in an appropriate jar/bottle and have a great travel! https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Smart-Bottle-Set/dp/B004HCECVA

Subscribing for other tips. I travel a bit for work so here are some tricks I use:

Pack a travel microfiber towel-you can get these hand towel sized and they do a wonderful job drying my hair. You might run into issues with size if your hair is super long (mine is just past shoulder length and this towel gets me by). and they dry super fast and pack small.

You can buy a collapsible travel diffuser. I love this one and use it for both home and travel. It collapses up well and is lightweight. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRXV18M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

When my hair routine once required more products than I currently use, I would actually mix them in travel containers in the ratio I applied them to my hair. It reduced the number of containers needed. (i.e. 2 different kinds of gels or a gel and a cream). It got me by on trips, not but wasn't ideal for everyday.

Look into 1 oz travel containers like this set: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Smart-Bottle-Set/dp/B004HCECVA/ref=sr_1_3?crid=147WPEO7PKDBI&keywords=1+oz+travel+bottles&qid=1556731206&s=hpc&sprefix=1+oz+travel+%2Chpc%2C179&sr=1-3

Also I've found that TSA approved clear bags pack more stuff better than a ziplock quart bag.

I use ACV for other skin care needs, so I pack a 3 oz bottle which can double as a cleansing agent when I'm on the go. This was I can get by without my deva curl build up buster for a week or two.

If you are looking to save space on liquids, look into leaving other non-hair products at home (hotel shower gel works just fine) or investing in solid bars for other products (face wash and body soap).

A silk scarf that can be used at night and double as an accessory during the day.

I buy travel bottles like those and fill them with my products. I hate change and would be worried about breaking out.

I have a bunch of bottles, tubs, and spritzer things like this. I'm sure the packaging isn't perfect so wouldn't be good for long term storage of products but would be fine for a trip!

A custom-made travel kit would be awesome as part of a gift - I'm such a sucker for those $1-3 little cute reusable bottles in the hygiene aisles. You could get luxurious body wash, lotion, etc for her to refill as needed.

Really, anything to help hotels feel at home. A good book (or even a kindle?), portable candles, lavender linen spray...

Whenever I can't think of one great gift, I get a themed array of stuff and wrap everything individually to be both fun and frustrating ;)

That makes sense at first, but the catch is that it's the 3-1-1 rule, not the 3 rule. This means that all your toiletries must fit inside a clear plastic bag, and you can only have 1. The bags are 32 ounces (1 quart), which implies 9 3.4 ounce bottles. The next catch is that you can't just squirt your shampoo, shaving cream, toothpaste together in the bottle. You have to account for the space the bottles take up. The final catch is that the bottles must fit "comfortably." This means that the TSA must be able to move around the toiletries within the bag to look at the labels (particularly the size print information). This further limits the number of bottles you can carry.

Together, this means you can fit 4 or 5 3.4 ounce bottles in a single quart bag. Here is specially designed 3-1-1 set with 4 3-ounce bottles and a little extra room for smaller bottles.

Now think about travel sized containers. They are much smaller. They generally provide just what you need for a few days of carry-on travel. So for toothpaste, you only need .75 ounces to last. For shave gel, you need a few more ounces so they make the travel sized 2.75 ounces. This means you can pack way more than 4-5 products in your bag. You can carry toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, mouthwash, makeup, contact lens solution, face wash, lotion, your toothbrush, etc. Here is another 3-1-1 bag and bottle set you can buy on Amazon. By using smaller bottles, you can fit 12 different products in your bag.

I just linked the Amazon sets so you could get a feeling of how much you can fit. Maybe it underestimated or overestimated how much you can fit in the quart bag. In any case, the idea is directionally correct. Smaller travel sizes allow people to fit more products in the quart bag. As such, it makes sense for companies to make their travel products as small as possible to fit, but just big enough to cover a person for a week, give or take, of carry on travel. Any longer of a trip, and the person can check a bag or buy new products at their destination. As a final point, you can always just pack 2 50 ml bottles of a given product if needed. You can't conveniently split a 100 ml bottle to carry less.

The outdoors can do funny things to your skin. Mine normally starts worse and then gets better as it adapts my natural oils to the changed needs, but if I go too long then it starts getting worse again as too much builds up.

You can also bring whatever creams or washes you need. If it's not convenient, just repackage it in a different container. Walmart and similar stores will carry things like these in their travel/trial section of the pharmacy

I have these cheap ones and they're quite good.

The travel section of Target, WalMart and most drug stores will have them, too.
