There's only really been one book like this afaik and it's targeted towards NES Tetris players. Tricks of the Classic NES Tetris Masters

Other guides have been included in magazines, so maybe looking up archives would yield some stuff, but I'm guess it's very basic stuff. Another place to look is in old game manuals, when people actually put work into those.

Finally I believe there are three japanese guidebooks for some older tetris games.

Maybe if you tell us what version you're interested in we can point you to some good online resources.
