I just bought this last week. Basically turns your AUX input on the car into a bluetooth receiver. It's been great so far.

I use one of these in transmitter mode:

[TROND Bluetooth V4.1 Transmitter Receiver / Wireless 3.5mm Audio Adapter with aptX Low Latency & aptX for Both TX & RX, Dual Stream and Volume Controller] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K8ANDCI)

It can be a little finicky automatically connecting with my BT headphones but that's because I multipair alongside my phone. Tapping the button to cause it to reinitiate connection generally works though, in those uncommon cases when it's necessary. Otherwise it's worked very well.

Keep in mind that your headset latency matters greatly. I have one set that is very near synced, whether with this or my phone, and another set that is very much not. Even the good one is a little off for demanding things like rhythm games or competitive fighters.

This unit supports aptx low latency though, so if you can find a set of headphones that also support aptx-ll then you'll be golden. Otherwise you might have luck of the draw, but I can vouch for the transmitter's side of the performance.

I use this:

It can be either a transmitter or a receiver by flipping a switch. When I plug it into the controller I push the pairing button on it and on the headphones and they connect.

Neither device has a screen so there's no name or choice of transmitter; they just see each other. I guess you could run into problems if you have multiple items trying to pair bluetooth at the same time, but that hasn't happened to me yet.

Yep, I have one of these, it's both a transmitter and receiver (i actually have two and use them to connect any two devices wirelessly, like my phone and headphones, or my home stereo to something, etc. Very useful thing to have around, both for sending and receiving.

Amazon has some decent and cheap BT transmitters, especially the newer v4.1 ones who have less audio lag. They usually come with the RCA adaptor included.

Then you can use a BT headset, the generic brands are cheap. Also look for newer protocol specs for minimum delay. However, if you're set on using the Denons, 2 of these may do the trick for you.

Don't invest in radio headphones, they are very susceptible to interference and most of them have a hiss in the background.
