I actually just got this snake on Amazon last week and holy hell did it work a treat on my bathroom sink in just a few minutes.
But man, make sure you have something to wipe it off with immediately. It smells so bad whenever you pull that gunk out.
Here's one that I've used for years. It's very flexible. I've used it in the bath sink and shower stall, haven't had to use it in the bath tub yet.

As a mother with an extremely long-haired daughter, this tool is invaluable. I use it once a week and it keep all teh drains clean.
