Not OP, but have you tried a mail organizer/letter sorter? Like this or this?
If you're in the US Target will have letter sorters again in that...little $3 area at the front of the store. They come in mint, navy, and red. They are either $3 or $5, can't remember. They're a wire-based design so you can see through them and will be able to see your palettes. They don't seem to have them online. Some other places you might want to check out if you have them near you are Marshalls/Homegoods/TJ Maxx as they'll pretty often have cool stationary items that make for great makeup organization!
