Well, I'm going to assume that you have already talked about it and that it's something he's interested in too.

I'm about 7 inches hard, and I fill this cage here comfortably. It's not actually stainless steel and the bars are thin, so it won't work well if you plan on wearing it for long, but it'd probably be an improvement over your current device.
