I actually wrote a book! Hi, my name is Chris McCay, and I am very excited to announce the publishing of my new book Unboxing IT: A look inside the Information Technology black box. The book is an overview of every aspect of the Information Technology world, that is aimed at helping teachers guide this generation (the first one to grow up with Technology so deeply integrated into their lives) into a better understanding of the IT world.
I've been working in the IT world for over 16 years, and there are SO MANY THINGS we in IT wish every non-IT person knew and understood about technology. This book covers everything from hardware, to software, to the jobs within IT, the various methodologies we use within the IT world, and all of the aspects of everyone's personal IT space.
