I would go with a sports bra, you're going to go through a period of getting use to wearing bra's in general and a sports bra is a good first step. This one is invisible under t-shirts.
My under bust is 35" and I wear a large in that brand. For other girls out there wondering about sizing, usually but not always in sports bra's a 30" underbust is a x-small, 32" is small, 34" is medium, 36" is large and 38 is X-Large.

Personally I find the next size down comfortable enough to wear all day, and it gets me slightly flatter. YMMV though.
