Wow, that’s a lot of headphone to wear to listen to audiobooks and when you don’t care about quality. Is there a reason you don’t go with an in-ear option?

In ear Bluetooth with skip fwd/back (hold left or right ear’s button for 2 seconds) $50 no wire between earbuds. amazon

I'll insert my two cents on chi-fi TWEs that are talked about a lot by audiophiles over on the head-fi forums, since everyone will automatically talk about the brand names here as expected.

currently hyped sets are the MPOW T5 (clean, balanced sound, apt-x), Tranya T3 (bassiest of the bunch, aac), Anbes 359 (larger sound stage, decent bass, smallest form factor, these have been out of stock forever, and only knockoffs are available). the latter two are available on amazon. the t5 also has been on amazon lightning deals at least twice in the last month or so going for less than $40 (was $31 earlier today).

I suggest you try the Tranya T3’s. These work well for me at the gym - good sound, decent isolation, reliable connection, easy controls, terrific battery life. And only $40:

I bought these about two months ago and it’s probably the best purchase I’ve ever made. Amazing sound quality, decently noise cancelling, stay in your ears easy, and have never had a problem with the battery. Don’t be afraid of the price — it’s not too good to be true.

Other person I recommended them to loves them as well

Jaybird has shitty customer service. My $150 x3 stopped working in 1 ear after 2 years and I couldn't get them to respond to my email, or phone calls. The wires will fray at the connection to the earpiece and there are multiple reports of this happening.

Ended up buying some generic wireless in-ear brand on Amazon for $40 and they've been great so far. You can control the music via the earpieces themselves and it has good sound isolation and decent bass. At least if these break in a couple years I won't be pissed I spent $$$.
