Well here's the case I'm referencing. I'll suggest it 200% its very slim and gives a ton of protection doubled with one of those glass screen protectors on amazon. I've dropped my phone a few times on concrete and the worst that's happened was the case stuffing up.

Apparently the Urban Armor Gear case works well with the scanner.

Also i noticed it seems to work on certain cases if you put the very tip of your finger On the scanner .

Haha my bad man. Give it a month or so, I'm sure it'll be on Amazon for $5 - $10 cheaper.
