If you want to understand racists, read one of the really great critical scholarly histories of their movement, some of the rich political psychology work on white identity and racial attitudes, or work on the politics of ethnocentrism. All of these will help you understand real white bigotry and white nationalism in the world, and crucially none of them is white-nationalist propaganda that claims something wild like that white nationalism is some kind of perfectly valid alternative interpretive frame for looking at consensus reality.

>So I guess the US is sort of an exception to this 'rule'.

What are you talking about? Americans fall over themselves to act altruistically to people they consider to be in their group. The fact is disguised by the fact that American is not ethnically homogenous as many first world countries are. Consequently, there is a lot of opposition to government sponsored altruism since it's seen as benefiting the "wrong" kind of people. It's no secret that in the US, racial resentment in whites is correlated with both opposition to welfare (which is thought to support non-whites) and support for Social Security (which is thought to support "good" americans).

>I'll slap any one who compares me to a microscopic organism.

False. I have done so, and - owing to the anonymity of the internet - you will not be able to find me and slap me.
