Had 1 fail in years..
I also wanted to get rid of any SATA power connectors so I ordered a few packs of these MOLEX risers (Version 006) for when I run out of PCIE cables coming out of my PSU.

Alright, just got all my rig parts in and have been reading for a few days now about the best approach to powering risers. I have mapped everything out and I think I have everything dialed right, but just wanted to get another opinion and make sure I have the power distributed right. GPU and PSU:
The PSU has these cable selections:
So this is what I was thinking of doing to power the GPU's and risers. Wanted to make sure this sounds ideal:
This is the best I could come up with so far. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
I have 3 gtx 1080s. I believe according to this thread I have them wired incorrectly.
If SATA is bad, what's the best way to power the risers? My risers have molex connectors on them and came with SATA > Molex adapters which I then plugged into a SATA power cable.
If I were to do this properly (which I plan on), What would be the best way to setup the power for the risers? Molex directly from the PSU? Is there an adapter I can buy for each riser?
Thanks.
EDIT - These are the risers I have currently. They have molex connectors but it's version 6. Should I set up my rig with 1 Molex cable per riser? I have four (4) available 6-pin sata/perif ports on my 850 gold EVGA psu. Should I unplug my Sata cables and run three (3) psu -> molex connectors and attach those to my risers individually?
EDIT 2 - Would I be able to run two risers per molex cable or strictly stick to one to avoid overdrawing the power?
THANKS!
No troubles, I like helping. One more thing, you'll need some risers if you don't already know about them(one for each GPU):
