This is a popular chest rig, can hold 6 mags, has pull tabs, and has two side compartments which can hold a hammershot or more mags. Also has handy admin pouch

Now, I have looked at your profile, and have also seen the rest of your posts on the sub. Try doin a quick google search or search on the sub before asking a redundant question that hundreds of people have asked before like “which flywheels do I get” or “what is the best dart” or “what is the best motor”

I found 8 threads, and probably more that can answer your question just do some god damn research on your own, and there are tons of YouTube reviews for nerf and airsoft on chest rigs. I cannot tell you what chest rig to get, because everybody has different preferences.

I hope I didn’t waste my time making this, and I hope somebody sees it. We might need to clean up redundant questions with a bot?
This is a serious issue on the sub, people need to learn how to just look something up on google.

Does modding help? Of course it does. Is it absolutely necessary? Not at all! There are some people who play HvZ games entirely with socks. However not all stock blasters are created equal. For instance having the Nerf Slingstrike or the breech-loading Ion-Fire will probably hurt you more than help you. And things like the Dart Zone Magnum and the Buzz Bee Sentinel are definitely a cut above other stock blasters.

You actually reminded me of a video I wanted to do about Nerf'n on a budget but I never got around to it. One of the easiest and cheapest kits you can run would be a Dart Zone Magnum with a dump pouch full of spare darts so you can keep topping off your blaster. The whole package is like $50 maximum and requires no modding whatsoever and you don't need any extra magazines or other equipment.

As for rigs, the VISM AK Chest Rig is pretty great for carrying 6 additional magazines with some extra room for other stuff and is super cheap.

And finally you have to remember that not all mods cost money. Taking out the locks and removing dart poles is free.

Or these if you already have a battle belt or vest you want to use. You just have to cut a small divider on the inside of the pouch and the coupled mags fit snugly.

I prefer to keep my tank on the gun and use it to aim, and full vests are too hot and constricting for Paintball. This is that I use for Magfed play:
