I'd go pay $20 for a battery operated auto feeder. Best $20 I ever spent for my tank and this way you dont have to worry about a block feeder nuking your tank. I have never had luck with block feeders.

Works like a charm. Pull up a YouTube video for how to program it. The included instructions are a mystery but the video is perfect.
