If this is the facial interface you got, then yes they work amazingly together. I have this exact face plate and a pair of WidmoVR lenses and you will be entirely satisfied! The WidmoVR lenses are amazing! That face plate comes with a nice cloth cover that totally makes up for the stock foam that scratches the shit out of your face. You can also remove the cover and stick with the nylon foam, which is nice and comfy too, but if you get hot fast it can become a little uncomfortable.

I just got one of these and it's great. A must have if mutliple people use your headset as the material is much easier to clean. Also, there's no need to worry about hair getting threaded in the foam anymore! Also comes with a washable cotton cover you can put over the padding

Seconded. If this is the one I got, then it comes with a second pleather piece. You can swap them between players and wipe them down with antiseptic. The pleather doesn't sweat like leather would and I really life the cloth. Since you're demoing on Friday, I'd recommend the $50 Amazon bundle (same thing but prime shipping. With the shipping from VR cover you're only missing out of maybe $14, but for expedient shipping...).

I have provided the links to the products I use.

If you think you're going to be sweating quite a bit (perhaps because of beat saber) I recommend a different facepad by VR Cover.

Like TOO_FUTURE said before me, definitely set up a ceiling rig so you dont have to worry about cables running around the floor.

Lastly, you might want to think about investing in a 3rd Oculus sensor. Having that 360 degree coverage and not having to worry about facing forward all the time will make your VR experience that much better.

Right here, works great. (I guess technically not covers, they're replacements.)

This is the one I recommend.

For the Glasses if you are on a Rift these are the ones you want.

Make sure you know your IPD, don't guess here as this could throw everything off.

If you have any questions further I would recommend filling out this form

They will be the most suited to answer more detailed questions than I have answers for.

This is the set I got. It is not 100% like the basic set as it came with a thicker perforated leatherette foam also. They do not even have a picture of that foam anymore on there making me think maybe it will become the current basic set on their website.

I bought one of these leather-like facial interfaces and have a set of clorox wet wipes that I wipe it down with if other people are playing: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MQZVF6K

Works great, and the leather-like material is wayyyyy more comfortable than the dense foam. I feel like it ventilates way better too.

Buy a new facial interface.

OR! Buy a 3rd party facial interface, like the VR Cover Hygiene Set

u/xyzzzzy · 1 pointr/oculus

I’m sorry my dude. My report is that buying a VR Cover 95% solved the problem and was a nice upgrade in comfort. That 5% of the time I still catch a faint whiff of stale cat pee though.

I can assume you are talking about the Hygiene set on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/Oculus-Facial-Interface-Replacement-Hygiene/dp/B01MQZVF6K/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1538429079&sr=8-5&keywords=vrcovers

It is the same items as sold on their site. The kit gives you their interface, 2 leather covers, and their comfort cover. Not sure what else you are looking for or what else you're expecting? They work great.

u/agrajag-42 · 1 pointr/oculus

I was worried about that and I've been watching it. It hasn't been noticeable yet, but I expect it will become an issue. I actually held off posting pictures of this thing for a while because that's the last thing I want to address, and I expected I'd get the question here.

I've not found an easy way to create a standoff that can take pressure off the foam, yet -- there are some more complicated/intrusive ways to do it. Maybe I'll go there if I think of something clever or start having a problem.

I should note, I'm not using the stock "facial interface" - I'm mostly using this:

As mentioned above, I had a HUGE problem with my headset fogging up until a got a "VR Cover." There has to be other brands out by now, but the one I ordered practically eliminated fogging completely. You do loose some FOV as the headset isn't quite as close to your face, but it allows enough air (especially if a fan is blowing at your face) to keep your face dry without drying out your eyes. https://www.amazon.com/Oculus-Facial-Interface-Replacement-Hygiene/dp/B01MQZVF6K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523557569&sr=8-2&keywords=vr+cover

I'd buy an extra facial interface: https://www.amazon.com/Oculus-Interface-Standard-Version-Replacement/dp/B01MQZVF6K

And cut off the whole top section of it so that you get more air flow and less sweating.
