Don't feel bad. it's a perfectly legitimate question. Hell, that's what I thought it was supposed to be until I actually held one in my hand. Plus, there are discs like these, which do have an outer rim of rubber. Also glow in the dark! Fly like crap, but probably very safe to have around kids, given the soft rubber rim.
