You might want to read up on that notion, it's demonstrably false:

Study 1
> A simple table that one would be hard pressed to disagree with.

Study 2
> Monozygotic twins raised separately following adoption show a correlation of 0.72 for intelligence; that is, one twin’s intelligence strongly predicts the other’s, despite their different rearing environments.

Book 1 (by the same Flynn who others have mentioned as a counter-point)
