Have you tried the butt Frida?

I've heard good things. Good luck and hang in there... it won't last forever.

Has anyone mentioned the Windi from Fridababy?? It worked great for my son. He was so gassy! We did some bicycle legs for a minute before we used the windi and it worked wonders. Just be careful because poop might come out also 😂

For my little girl, the unconsolable crying ended up being reflux. We didn’t try Zantac until 10 weeks and it made an immediate difference.

For burping her though, I found having her “sit” on my lap and holding her body in my dominate hand and patting her back with the other hand easier than having her rest up on my shoulder and burping.

As far as gas goes, the Windi thing gave her some relief.

I remember those first 10 weeks were a myriad of trial and error to get LO some relief. Honestly, I probably took her to the ped three times by 10 weeks because I couldn’t figure out what else to try and was losing my sanity. Good luck Mama! I know it’s tough!!

After confirming with the MD it’s just gas/constipation, I can say I use the windi after I cycle her legs and massage her belly down. I push her legs to her chest and after coating the tip with coconut oil I insert it- I can hear her gas and then poop follows. Best of luck!

I haven't used it but I've heard good things about the Windi. Might be worth a try if you haven't yet.

I know this doesn’t help in the long run, but if your kid is in need of tummy relief, I’ve heard great things about the Windi . I bought some to have on hand just in case, but I haven’t had to use them yet.

Its a tough question and largely unanswerable. Even with prior experience you cannot look at a niche and go "this is going to make me 50k". While this isn't the case with my current pure review site, ordinarily I would have aimed at a smaller subset of a niche and logically expanded until I reached that amount. Then aimed higher. This is largely why I recommend choosing broad niches over targeted ones, if you were to use my mindmap example form january.

Family -> Parents -> Mom -> Raising children -> Babies -> sleeping babies -> Blankets

My preference would be the middle of the map, either babies or raising children.

From here I would identify a product or group of products and drill down into them. Let's say strollers. From here you have:

All-terrain strollers

umbrella strollers

sit and stand strollers

jogging strollers

*carseat strollers

etc. etc.

Each one of those could be a best of guide, worked into a a guide on supplementary content. Including the reviews you have 60 pages of content ready to go. Then there are thousands of other baby products you can logically expand into one step at a time.

You can even start at the other end and focus on uncommon baby items like this before expanding into the larger products:

http://www.amazon.com/Windi-Gas-Colic-Reliever-Babies/dp/B007RAGALO

I'm sorry that product always makes me laugh. Sodomy is okay if you can't yet pronounce words. But my point remains, if you have chosen a broad niche you can always focus down. A narrow niche will not easily allow you to expand.

My point being that if you have chosen a broad niche, the ceiling is almost limitless.

My little had terrible gas during that time too. We figured out that I had oversupply issues, which was causing some of the gas. But I think he was just a gassy baby anyway. We used the Windi, and it was a HUGE help. They are kind of expensive, but were absolutely worth it for us. The gas should gradually get better on its own also, but a gassy baby sure makes for some miserable times!

Have you tried this. I read a review of it on this sub once and it sounded like it worked.

u/jalapenyobusiness · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

I just bought a pack of Windis on Amazon here (I'm in the US). If you want me to look into how much it would be for me to buy another box and ship it to you PM me.

Our little one had some issues with gas/pooping prior to cutting soy and dairy from wife's diet. These helped a lot when she couldn't go: https://smile.amazon.com/Gaspasser-Fridababy-all-natural-solution-Relief/dp/B007RAGALO

Someone gave one of these at a baby shower I was recently at. They swore by it.
It’s called a Windi

u/hope2786 · 2 pointsr/Mommit

nosefredia for when baby has a stuffy nose and then the windi for when baby has gas. Now I know that both products seem.... gross but trust me they work.

u/greatredwoodofawhore · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

I haven't tried the Windi, but I've heard good things from friends.

Hi mama! I had my little girl on the 8th, and I feel your pain! She's been so gassy these last few nights and there's nothing I do that soothes the poor thing. Gonna lurk here to see if anyone has magical ideas that I haven't tried.

I tried the Windi last night and got some gas out but not enough to relieve her, and I didn't want to keep probing the poor thing with it.

u/aboutagirl22 · 2 pointsr/breakingmom

I haven't used this myself, but I've heard and read it works. The Windi.

u/ttcatexan · 2 pointsr/February2018Bumpers

Has anyone used the Windi yet? How do I know when I should use it? Audrey gets fussy but I can’t tell if it’s gas or something else. She’s generally a happy baby but doesn’t poop very often.

Yes, it works and it can save lives. It has kept our preemie twins out of the hospital more than once. Besides, it is far better than what people used to do to before such devices were available.

The Windy on the other hand seems a bit ridiculous.

I second trying the enfamil gentlease (or even the generic). It helped immensely. Also try gas drops! Or Gerber Soothe probiotic drops. I've got some unopened I got from the dr I can send you if you want. Also, as a last ditch effort, we bought Windis which are like little hollow tubes you put in their butt to relieve pressure. We dealt with colic for a week and it was MISERABLE. My daughter would eat, sleep for 1.5hrs, scream for 3 hours, eat, sleep for 1.5hrs, repeat for an entire week.

Can you hear her tummy rumbling when she's upset like that? My LO is only 7 weeks old but I've had a few evenings with her so far when she would just cry uncontrollably, arch her back etc. (normally she's a very calm baby) but I can always hear her tummy rumbling when she's like that so gas seems to be a pretty obvious cause in my case.

I asked my parents for advice and they suggested a gas relieving tube that goes up the butt, according to my dad a similar thing used to really help me as a baby (thanks for the info dad lol). I found this through researching it but I haven't tried it yet, perhaps it's worth a go?

u/karatop · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

Honestly, the one thing you can do to help get the gas out is to go buy The Windi. http://www.amazon.com/The-Windi-Colic-Reliever-Babies/dp/B007RAGALO

I tried it with my older son because he was the same way. I talked to my pediatrician about it and he said that sometimes when they are that little they can't release the gas or poop easily, just negate they have to learn how to relax that muscle. The Windi is expensive, so he suggested we get some children's glycerine suppositorys, not to insert all the way, but to use it like a tool to help the baby release the gas/ poop. I just put it in my 4 month old's rectum while STILL HOLDING THE END OF IT. It's amazing because it does the same thing as the Windi, but is much cheaper. Good luck and please let me know what you figure out.

u/Rhizoma · 1 pointr/breastfeeding

My baby is really uncomfortable with gas a lot of the day. While I'm still not sure the cause, we've had limited success in relieving gas with the Windii. It sounds barbarous, but it's really no worse than a baby thermometer in the butt. I will say that it only temporarily relieves gas for my LO. Within a few minutes, the gas is back, but I have heard stories that it works miracles for constipated babies. Might be worth a shot. Just have a diaper handy. It won't fix whatever is causing the constipation, but it might help it coming out. Good luck, Momma!

u/Nazaress · 1 pointr/mildlyinteresting

Actually, yes. Babies regularly need snot sucked out of their noses because they do not know how to blow them yet and if their noses get plugged up, they won't be able to breathe.

That being said, they have much less gross methods available.

And don't forget to pick up your very own Windi Gas and Colic Reliever.
