• The storage server is actually my primary desktop at the moment. I started using storage spaces, moved to the stablebit Drivepool software, and am now back to testing out storage spaces. As of right now, I am just using SMB3 to host the VHDX files for the cluster. It actually seems easier to manage than iscsi, and performance for me has been good so far. All of the drives are connected via an IBM M1015 SAS adapter in IT mode. No hardware RAID.
