this grow light from Amazon was going around r/houseplants for a minute. Of course I impulse bought it. I’ve never had one but I really like it because it’s flexible with a clamp. I do believe my plants are happier. My succulents were extremely etiolated before, but now they’re growing well!

But my plants don’t love it, they kind of put up with it. They seem to do better with this light but they only come with two heads and the cart needs three for good coverage.

I only keep one side on at a time because I’m afraid to melt my plants but I just got this one and am a novice user!

If you look on Amazon there are LOTS AND LOTS of grow lights. I have bought several. I have had good luck with the LED grow lights. They are more energy efficient and the plants seem to do well. If you get some just make sure they are FULL SPECTRUM.
You can also get flourescent T5 grow lights. They do fine but just use more energy. They also tend to run hotter so be aware of how close they are to your plants so they don't burn.

I want to build an indoor basement grow room so we can grow throughout the winter but that requires serious lighting, temp, and air control.
I'm definitely going to give that greenhouse a shot and put it on my heat pad. So one more question if you don't mind... Would a grow-light like this one work for a greenhouse this size or would I need something bigger?

I have only had these lights for a little less than two weeks. Its not a very strong light so with succulents and other sun loving plants I keep the light about 2 inches away.
We haven't found ones we particularly like at our house since we're always switching up our ~grand vision~ for our plants, lol. This one was the darling of r/houseplants for a while. Definitely search here, r/houseplants, r/succulents, or even r/plants for more suggestions. Threads about them pop up all the time.
