Hello! I'm the one who posts the readings weekly.

The readings I post are from the Revised Common Lectionary, a three-year cycle of readings with the years labeled A, B, and C. The liturgical year in the RCL begins on the first Sunday of Advent, so in two weeks, we will move from Year C to Year A.

Most "mainline" denominations have adopted the RCL, including the ELCA and the Missouri Synod.

The authoritative source for the RCL is the Vanderbilt Divinity Library. However, denominations that use it tend to duplicate the readings in their hymnals or service books, or on their websites, or in publications.

Most denominations also have special Sundays that deviate from the overall RCL pattern. For example, a couple weeks ago, many Lutherans celebrated Reformation Day with certain non-RCL readings, while other Protestants may not.

There is some criticism that the RCL leaves out certain passages that might be controversial or difficult to preach on. There are various proposed revisions (such as a Year D or the Narrative Lectionary) that haven't yet caught on as widely as the RCL.
