You could start by building an altar. It doesn't have to have anything specific on it or be dedicated to any being or purpose. It just has to be a place where you can calm your mind or direct it toward a goal. There are tons of great books out there about altars that don't even take a witchy or supernatural angle (here are a couple I've liked) - it really is just a table or shelf full of items that are important to you. Photos of your ancestors, cool rocks and shells, incense, candles, and flowers are all good places to start. Then when you move on to things like casting spells or practicing meditation, you'll have a focal point that lets your brain know it's witchcraft time.
