I have never seen "honey" in a store in the US (can't say I've looked while traveling) that wasn't honey. Is this something that happens in specific countries?
Doing some quick price checking, you can get honey (yes real honey) for a similar price to corn syrup. Swapping in corn syrup in place of honey wouldn't even save you much.
