I found them on Amazon. There are a few different types with more drawers too.

Thanks! You're not going to believe this, but the box is from Amazon!!! I've been looking for the perfect jewelry box for YEARS and I found this box and gave it a try. I added balsa wood dividers (the glue is a bit wet in the photos still, the yellow bits will fade). The pumpkins are one of my favorite pairs, they are from Frozenfire on Etsy. He isn't taking custom orders anymore but he is still adding items to his shop, I expect he will add some more pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns around the fall.

As msghmr mentioned, Futurlec ships the grab bags in labeled small plastic baggies. I ended up consolidating equal value components, relabeling when necessary, and then put the baggies in a plastic drawer setup.

It took about an hour or two of pulling off the tape from every single component and rebagging, but it's well worth it. Now I can open the <1KOhm resistor drawer, flip through the sorted bags in there, pull out the bag I want, and grab the resistors I need -- and similarly with caps, diodes, ICs, and transistors.

akro mills storage cabinets. theseor these
sort by type, takes longer to sort at first, but so worth it.

I've used the little plastic organizers (like for tackle) with small plastic bags for a portable solution, but would definitely prefer a small drawer set (with the bags) for a more permanent solution.

Note: links are only for examples, not recommendations of products.

I also throw part of the hardware packaging in with the bags for labeling and always have a marker near the boxes for custom labeling if needed.

What storage containers do you use (or have you used) for your various bits and baubles?

They do make PCIe USB3 cards that have an internal connector on them just for these hookups. I used one in my machine. Just like this example

I haven't had to move it yet (other than just around my house) but we use
this storage cabinet and I would imagine with some foam strategically placed it would be just fine to move around with

we did happen to find an old overhead projector whose case fit around this storage cabinet perfectly which I would use if moving with all my minis

we also store things other than minis in ours like terrain (both the original cardboard and these stone ones) and tokens in this style holder

Ok good, that is what I was leaning toward. I'll be taking them all apart later today. I'm also thinking about getting some sort of container with small drawers for storage, something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00019JP8S/ref=mp_s_a_28?pi=75x65&qid=1346178804&sr=8-28

I've seen this recommended before on here.

I got one of these and stained it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AIDBGC/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_FbspybQS63FJN I keep silica beads in there and keep it out of the bathroom. It'd be nice to have them on display somewhere. Maybe in the next house.

I like Tiger Tuff or similar document boxes, with shallow compartment trays for bits.
