It looks almost exactly like this one, but the legs go all the way to the feet with stirrups.

Edit: there are some really cute swim tights out there. You could buy swim tights then a coordinating long sleeve rash guard.

Hello!!! :)

If possible, I'd like to request this because I reallyreallyreally need to get back in shape and swimming is one of the few things I can do that I love and is good for my knees :)

Now I'm thinking of creative ways to use violently passive in a sentence but it's not really working :P

Thanks for this contest!!!

do i think pre-teen girls should be forced to swim semi naked with boys? No.

Agreed, Lets be adult. There are no rules stating how they had to be clothed, however there was one stating they had to swim.

They could have gotten one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Islamic-Swimsuit-Swimwear-Swimming-Leotard/dp/B00VU39WNM

I think an important thing to do might be to dress like a woman "your size". I'm not saying big girls can't rock yoga pants and crop tops, or anything like that -- but it takes a certain style to pull it off nicely.

Some people don't care how they look and do it anyway -- more power to 'em, I'm kinda jealous really. But for me, and probably you? Keep things a little looser; avoid horizontal stripes; wear a dark belt higher up to give the impression of a smaller waist; look for "slimming" patterns -- I think this swim suit is a good example.

Look at catalogs like Torrid, see how they dress, dress like that. Start conservative (in the sense of covering more), and work your way up.

It'll take a lot of work, you'll spend a lot of money on clothes... but -- for me at least -- it's so worth it. Also, thrift stores are your friend while you're trying to find "your" look.

I’m 6’ 200 pounds, Tyr suits fit me really well.

I get about 6-7 months of daily use out of them before they start to stretch out and die. Arena suits last a little longer in my experience, but it’s been a few years so I might be misremembering.

I’ve been rocking this one since February and it’s just started loosening up and showing Lycra fuzzies:

I am in love with these bathers and I really want to wear and look good in them. If I keep going as I am then I'll reach a healthy weight just before next summer (southern hemisphere), and these will be my reward!

Panache Sport has an underwired swimsuit, so does Freya Active. Panache Sport Top has been used as a tankini successfully. Freya Sport also has a tankini.

EDIT: And I strongly recommend doublechecking your size using our beginner's guide. Getting the size right for sport bras (and you do need a sport bra with swim functionality) is paramount for support, even more so than with regular bras.

> Another thing about skirted suits... how the hell do you actually swim in them? Wouldn't they just flop around? They sound like a terrible idea...

Eh, you can buy swim skirts that aren't like that. I'm a lazy swimmer (eventually I will rejoin the local masters swim team...) but I have this skirt and a second similar speedo one with compression shorts under the skirt: http://smile.amazon.com/Sport-Sonoma-Skort-Black-Large/dp/B00IHVTC3A/ - does not bother me while swimming.

In what way is it visible tho? Is it something where a really variegated fabric will hide it? Can you not wear swim shorts/skirts with a bikini top? Have you tried if the pantiliner trick might work with a water environment?

I agree with localgyro tho - I give no fucks, and imo that long term work pays off especially since I like to swim. I'm the kinda weirdo that shows up at the beach with SPF/UPF 100000000000 swim leggings though. ;)

Looks like they are all 35 at Dicks. Here is one on Amazon for 20. I'm sure Ross and Marshalls, will have some options.

So I'm on mobile so bear with me on the links. But I've had great luck with Amazon swimsuits they run small because they're all from China. I normally wear a small top and medium bottom and I always go for a medium or large suit according to the reviews.

I found a few suits that might fit your criteria

I WANT TO CHECK THEM ALL OUT!! My darling is sleeping beside me. And took the earbuds. I will definitely give them a listen soon!

My favorite music truly depends on my mood and what I'm doing. I love jazz, but the cool kind, the mellow, and the hot kind, rich with sax. Not Dixieland, bleh. Fun to dance to, but I can only take so much. When I'm writing, sometimes I like classical - the robust, epic composers like Beethoven and Wagner. I don't care for the pastoral ones like Bach. The operas that I've seen, I have certainly enjoyed. When I need to be physically motivated or pumped up, the best 70's and 80's hits get me going (great for cleaning house). Katy Perry's "Roar" is similarly effective (don't judge! Also, Ke$ha's "Timber" - who'd have thought a country/hip hop crossover could even be a thing, much less that I would like it in a million years). Usually, when I hear music, I never find out who did it or what it's called. I just like it or don't. I usually do.

Green is so beautiful! Clear, pure emerald especially. I found this gorgeous swimsuit yesterday.

Lol, people used to call me "too pensive," and my mom always accused me of having an "over-active imagination." Now, I think of these traits in a positive light. I'd hate to go through life unthinkingly, just being swept here and there by circumstance and other people's desires. Lack of imagination would be death to all of the activities I love the most.

And no, just because you're the most bothered by a mess doesn't mean you should always be the one cleaning it up. Unless, of course, there is reciprocation. Like, "I agree to always keep the kitchen and living room clean if you always keep my favorite items in the fridge/cook that thing I love/take all the laundry to the laundromat every week (whatever suits everyone involved)." I have known people to seek out "neat freaks" as roomies for that quality alone, and sometimes give them a break in rent, especially if they also cook.

I've been swimming off and on for about 5 years now and this is hands down my favorite suite, I've gotten nothing but this style for years. It has an inner lining that keeps all the tummy tight and in place and has a flattering cut for your chest. Not too low in the back or too high around the legs. It holds up to chlorine really well too. It's a bit tight the first few times wearing then it's fine. It comes in smaller sizes too if you don't need a plus size. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it over the years.

u/Murbella_Jones · 1 pointr/MtF

they make workout bikini tops, basically sports bras that don't stretch out or disentegrate in chlorine which essentially binds everything up a bit (i don't currently need all that much). Thinking this or this one currently. I've always had an infatuation for competition suits as I've been on swim teams and life-guarded throughout my younger life before figuring out the trans stuff, and I love the sporty look to them.

And rashguard is basically a swim shirt generally popular with surfers so it's almost a socially acceptable way to wear a shirt in the water without having any obvious reason to feel self conscious. They come both tight and loose, though at some point in the future I'd much rather feel more comfortable in this ;-p

u/cultured_banana_slug · 1 pointr/AskWomen

It's very similar to this one.

Mine has a hood but other than that it's the same. The only downside is that it wouldn't be that great if you were fuller figured up top; there is no support for the ladies. I'm a barely-whatever cup so it's no problem for me.

u/anonymousforever · -8 pointsr/TalesFromTheCustomer

men are dicks.. sorry. Y'all are not alone in not wanting to wear a swimsuit that doesn't leave anything to the imagination. Some of us have a bit of modesty, or a desire to have something cover up parts we consider "not suitable for public display" for whatever reason - and it's not up to some man to arbitrarily say that one's swimwear isn't skimpy enough, if you ask me! Heck, what if you wore this because your doctor said you had to, due to skin cancer?
