I just upgraded the lights on my kawasaki, so I got all this worked out.
For the fast/4-way flashing issues, I can't say if they will effect your bike. I have a feeling they will, and if they do you know how to address them. All in this upgrade runs about 90 bucks, minus 17 if you decide to stick with halogen rear turn signals.

Good lord that's a long post
You can either futz with that switch, buy a new grip assembly, or I would replace the banjo bolt with a pressure switch banjo bolt, like this one.
It replaces the bolt that holds the hydraulic hose onto your master cylinder, and gives you a pressure-activated switch. Connect the brake light wires to this one instead, and you're in business for $8.
I sure can! I replaced my map, dome, rear cargo, and parking lights with LEDs on my 2002 Here are the amazon links, but I found some at the local autozone
Map / parking lights : https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-ZEVO-White-Bulb-Contains/dp/B01A77TXNK/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Honda%7C59&Model=CR-V%7C754&Year=2002%7C2002&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive&vehicleId=4&vehicleType=automotive
Dome / cargo: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BDWHXI0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Also, my coworkers have installed these brand LED headlights in their cars and they look great, haven't done mine yet due to the cost : https://www.amazon.com/OPT7-Fluxbeam-Headlight-Clear-Arc-Beam/dp/B00VNBEJ1G/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1486063848&sr=1-3&keywords=opt7%2Bled&th=1
Hope that helps, also this page : https://www.osram-americas.com/en-us/applications/automotive-lighting-systems/Pages/lrgmain.aspx
Is what I used to find and check all fitment codes for the LED lights replacements, Happy Lighting!
That’s called Urban Joke. It’s a mod through OBD11.

The cargo/bed light and back up lights are the same bulb, #921 bulb. I used the Sylvania Zevo brand bulbs and they work really well. They also sold them at the auto parts stores in town. I tried some other ones from ebay with more leds in the bulb but they did not focus the light very well. They were bright as hell but the light seemed to just go everywhere. They also seemed very cheap and they didn't fit too great. These ones aren't as extreme but they are a noticeable improvement.
Headlights (you only need one pair. the cutoff is outstanding)
Map lights, license plate lights, running tail lights, and side marker lights
Reverse lights
Front turn signals (accessible from under the vehicle - pin remover and 10mm socket needed)
Rear turn signals (requires tail light disassembly)
Turn signal resistors (required to prevent hyperflashing; soldering is recommended)
Brake lights (requires tail light disassembly)
Daytime-running lights (pliers needed)
Trunk light and dome light
Sorry for the late reply!
Here's the best guide I found, although it still doesn't provide enough detail to finish the job when you do your wiring.
What this guide is missing is you have to pop off the the plastic piece that lies around the trunk latch, and run the wires through a small hole through the bumper up into the small tube that runs the lights from the driver's side to the passenger's side. You will have to cut the plastic tubing that cases the wires and use wire nuts to splice the cables into new connections. Wire colors vary by year and other things, so figure them out by unplugging certain sockets.
But if you want to just buy a kit for $30, there's this
Sorry for crappy formatting, as you can tell, I'm not a frequent Reddit poster...
Sorry if I missed anything, I couldn't find all my orders in one place.

Super easy. I bought these bulbs off Amazon.

I got these clear side markers off of ebay, for my white Civic. They're Honda OEM, from Thailand.
You have to modify your existing bulb holder as the wiring connection is different.
I also used Sylvania orange LEDs that are white-frosted when they're not lit, so there's no orange at all up front with the lights off.
The OEM kit uses OSRAM Zevo Led's - For Front Map and Rear overhead requires 3 of 3175. You can find then at auto parts stores, walmart etc. $30 buying them yourself vs. the $99 the dealer charges.
Amazon - Osram Zevo 3175
Thanks for sharing a the product!
Looks like the same store offers the same product for slightly cheap off Amazon
