Hey guys, this is my new 2013 jeep wrangler sport. Not sure what I am going to name him just yet. I got an awesome deal on it. It already came with so much stuff on it. This is my first jeep wrangler so not sure if the name for some of the parts will be correct.

2.5 in lift sitting on 35’s

Winch

Snorkel

Front bumper

Upgraded sub and amp

Back jack

Running boards

Here is a list of mods I want to put on in the near future:

-Smittybilt xrc textured fenders

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EOZH9S/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

-Smitybilt xrc rear bumper (will my spare tire fit on this it’s a 35??)

https://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-76855-Textured-Bumper-Receiver/dp/B003EOTTUG/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1543072620&sr=1-2&keywords=smittybilt+rear+bumper&refinements=p_89%3ASmittybilt

-Better headlights

-headlights and taillight guards

-winch cover (the one it came with is super faded)

-black grille inserts

-black hood clasps

All this is running me under 800 dollars

If anyone has any better recommendations for any of the parts listed that would be a huge help! Thanks everyone.

Appreciate it.

I was shocked how good the quality is. Install wasn’t bad either!

Not quite what I’m looking for, but it led me to what I was looking for so thank you so much! For anyone else interested in what I found: “Bolt-less” Fender Flares through Amazon. Will most likely be giving these a try!

u/PopTartsNHam · 1 pointr/ToyotaTacoma

amazon.. I had a damaged flair and instead of paying $150 for one OEM replacement, for $4-500 for the "big brands" I saw these TAC with great reviews. installed the rears and LOVE them. Well worth the $189 on prime, even if only doing the rears lol.

I got these from amazon. (YITAMOTOR Steel Fender Flares Kit for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK (2/4 Doors), Heavy-duty Solid Steel Off-Road Fenders for Jeep Unlimited JK Front Rear Flat (4pcs) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0739MNW4H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dofNDbYZWH6PB ) They we’re inexpensive and easy to install. However, I’m not sure they’ll pass inspection. If not, I’ll get these. (https://trailmods.com )

I also had to cut the ends off the front bumper. So, I installed these ( VDP 31550 Stubby Bumper End Cap https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0095GK9SI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7jfNDbGERJWDM ) on the ends. It looks like a stubby version of the stock bumper. It’ll do until I’ll can get a proper metal bumper with a winch.

Looks like the bed of an old chevrolet.

They make these rubber/plasticy fender flares for four wheelin' that basically hole punch or self tap onto your existing body (it's brutal but looks like a few new holes are the least of that car's body issues) don't get the ones with the adhesive.. those ones are shit, get the ones that physically attach to your rusted out panels lol

These are just examples, you'll have to find he ones that fit your exact truck/suv of course but they make them for just about every truck ever made, they're pretty affordable.https://www.amazon.com/Premium-2010-2018-Fleetside-Paintable-Bolt-Riveted/dp/B01NATZCNC/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=fender+flares&qid=1563498806&s=gateway&sr=8-6

I'd use a pair of Tin snips and work your way through that rust until you get back to pretty fresh metal.. then sand the edges with 40~60 grit and then paint it with that anti-rusting primer paint and go about buttoning on those new fender flares.. you'll pass with flying colors for about 100$ and a few hours of basic work.

[edit] Here's a triple pair of metal working snips... lol you'll probably want all three and figure out why about 20 minutes into cutting the first fender... so I linked what i'd personally get for that job and maybe a few more around the house in the future because they're pretty useful tools to have in general.https://www.amazon.com/Aviation-Straight-Cutters-Aluminum-Leather/dp/B07RKHV3GC/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=tin+snips&qid=1563498992&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1

I have a set of EZ Flares (AMAZON) on my flares as technically they would fail MA inspection without them. Of course, I see Jeeps all over the place with tires extending more than mine do that apparently have no issues passing.

I got these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C5JL95I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rkY5CbMDNTTKS installation was eh, I had to cut the old fenders so that it left the inner fender well and then I just bolted the new ones over them pretty much

u/NateTheGreatOutdoors · 1 pointr/Jeep

They're actually these from Amazon. I liked the coverage better than the Smittybilt, as far as inside the fender. Didn't know that rivet nuts or the tools were so uncommon... The one I had was the wrong thread for the rivnuts that came with them, so I ended up using a few others I had on hand, and bolts/locknuts for the rest.

I don't have front liners in right now. Debating between leaving it that way, fitting the plastic factory ones, or doing some aftermarket ones like JCR Offroad or CrawlerConcepts. I do need to do some high temp paint for the exhaust to make it look nice again...

Cut/grind out the rust, throw on some fender flares. Very boy racer.

I can’t find the original posting for them but these are pretty close if not identical. I got them off amazon.

u/SirKolbath · 1 pointr/Jeep

It’s from this kit. Although the rock sliders are very flimsy. (Right behind the wheel wells, in front of the doors.) I ended up having my paint/body guy sand and repaint the OEM ones and put them back on again. I’m probably going to do the same thing with the mirrors. The damn replacements don’t stay where I put them. The slightest bump and suddenly I’m looking up my own nose.

u/jonzieMartini · 1 pointr/Jeep

Thank you! I wasn’t sure if you moment from or back (because they weren’t a set) so here’s the front:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ISA49WO/
ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_L4ayDb69G37KG

And here’s the back:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IS93G1A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_a5ayDbN295EWA

Over all they’ve held together wonderfully. I had the fronts for a long while before the rear and they are both manufactured with EAG. (My stinger is also). Absolutely in love with they way she’s shaping up.

u/MisterMooses · 1 pointr/Wrangler

Jesus. I'll take these and these thanks!

Would it look ridiculous to stick These or these fender flairs on my tj? Wanna say they're 29/30s.

XRC (Smittybilt) flat fenders. Extremely easy install and they're well made metal fenders.
