The sun visors on our cars are shitty quality. Depends on how much you use them and how much sun they get. But they will eventually break. Honda dealers will charge you about $100 per sun visor. You can find a real oem sun visor on Amazon for $65 each. I just bought a replacement sun visor for the passenger side from that link and it’s legit.
Just follow scheduled maintenance and that car will let you a long time. Make sure the tires are in good condition and check your brake pads to see how much life they have. Hopefully you have a trustworthy independent mechanic that specializes in Honda.
You are probably going to need a new one. Check eBay or amazon

Is there anything wrong with a sun visor extender?
Perhaps you could hang a loose sunvisor on top of the glass in the driver's door? Something like this, except opaque?
Just FYI, you can get transition pinlock visors for a lot of HJC helmets. https://www.revzilla.com/product/hjc-pinlock-protectint-insert-for-hj-05-hj-07-hj-09-hj-17

Only problem is that the UV protection from the visor interferes with it, so you'll need to find a visor without the UV protection coating (if it exists).
