Here is a study that "investigates how people diagnosed with bipolar mood disorder avoided episodes of illness and managed to stay well."

It gives insight into the lives of people who are successfully managing bipolar illness. Its motivating but may not be appropriate if you are fairly new to the illness.

The study: Staying well with bipolar disorder

Dr Sarah Russell also wrote a book based on her study that may be more helpful: [A Lifelong Journey by Sarah Russell] (http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004JZY49A?redirect=true&ref_=kinw_myk_ro_title)

I mean... this isn't something I've gone through. But it's a big enough deal that there's a book dedicated to divorcing a pwBPD.

It's called Splitting

I'd download the audio book and listen to it over the next few days.
