Fans of Eddie Vedder (pearl jam) and/or Folk should definitely check out the Into the Wild soundtrack

For road trips I listen to that, the RHCP, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.

And my personal favorites: This Is a Long Drive For Someone With Nothing to Think About and The Lonesome Crowded West, both by Modest Mouse.

The soundtrack was horrid. I like 70's classic rock, but the choices Rob made were just so generic. It was like an ad for Freedom Rock without the funny hippies. There was one awesome choice.

The profanity was far excessive, forced and distracting. If you can't write good dialog, throwing in as many fucks, shits, damns and hells as you can doesn't help.

The acting kinda sucked.

The plot was predictable.
