3. Salt and hot sauce: this is the weirdest one, but a little taste of hot sauce or salt can satiate me when I'm snacky but definitely not hungry
   
4. Homemade smoked beef jerky: this doesn't last long...

My best birthday ever was my 17th. I'm a huge theater nerd and I was head over heels in love with Phantom of the Opera (still am really). I listened to it everyday, I watched the movie all the time, it was practically all I talked about for years. My mom is amazing and she bought the two of us a ticket to Vegas for the weekend so we could see Phantom there (it had just opened). I literally could not have been more excited, it felt surreal. I have never had a birthday/present better then that since.

This is over by 56 cents :( But beside a giftcards and add-ons I don't have anything that cheap on my wishlist

College will do that to you! The first time I tried it, I attended 1/2 of every year and spent the other 1/2 working to save money to go back to classes.

Funny story about college:
I shared a two bedroom apartment with 3 roommates, plus me. One summer, we had another girl all to move in for a month. So, we added a third twin bed in the master bedroom. five of us in apartment built for four was pretty good, until the nightly sleepovers began and we regularly had 9 people in our little place. Anyway, five of us really liked to burn things. We always had a fire going or some candles or random incense.

One night, I told my roommates about a Mexican place I had gone to for dinner and they burned a fresh tortilla chip as the candle in a dessert. It smelled heavenly. So, we decided to try burning random stuff to see how it smells. All was well until a guest tried burning a strand of her hair... the apartment smelled for days 😝

Bonus story: the same summer three of my roommates and I went to the beach. We had a brilliant idea to swim out to the mile buoy. The swim was fun, the water was gorgeous out there, and it was so peaceful. The swim back to shore was the most terrifying two hours of my life. I didn't think we would ever make it back.

My goal right now, to get promoted at work, be a better manager than the one I would be replacing, and find some one better than myself to take over my department. Right now, as far as that goal goes, I've had the interview for the job, and I find out next week if I got it or not.
