Civil Rights in the 60's were bad for black people m'kay?
Feminism: A one stop train to becoming a prostitute and hating families!
Because people killing each other in the Middle East is a GOOD thing.
Only rich white people can write good things.
BRITISH EMPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRE fapfapfapfapfap
The USFG caused the Great depression. More specifically FDR.
Oh right, and capitalism had NOTHING to do with the Depression. At all.
The South WASN'T actually racist. Nope, they had Jesus on their side too. Also, you gave up your vacations in Cuba, you Yankee bastards.
Conservatives are the only real Americans! Everyone else is a dirty communist spy!
If you question the Bible, you question liberty and tolerance and reason.
Roman history is EXACTLY the same as US history. Also, the Middle Ages were the Age of Reason.
The Founding Fathers were conservatives. And totally supported the South in the Civil War, even though they were dead.
Evolution never happened!
And, of course... The US should be a Christian theocracy with slaves.
How about "The South had the moral high ground in the war"?
It sounds as though there is a consensus, but I'll also add MacPherson's Crossroads of Freedom, a thinner book, but also very enjoyable.
A favorite of mine that I have read several times over is Landscape Turned Red by Stephen W. Sears. It's about Antietam and I always have a hard time putting it down.
Honestly, yes. There are so many other domestic and foreign situations going on and any one time that the intelligence task forces that deal with Ukraine were likely watching it and even trying to influence it, but as far as any long term goals or weighing long term risks given all of the other concerns going on in the world I think it's ultimately a short term gamble that's ballooned into this massive fiasco and whether or not to push Russia's luck or take what they have, essentially giving the go ahead on the rest of the scenario is probably something made on a day to day basis at this point.
That's why when we ask the question what happens if Russia's gamble doesn't pay off and we keep coming up with nothing good, I came to this conclusion. It might all just be a huge risk that if something on the ground not planned for trumps up, maybe even at complete random as it has been in many situations throughout history, Russia loses the chips it put down and that's that.
The Hinge Factor is another good one.

Perhaps you'd enjoy some of the books from the host of that video? Here is his book on the british empire if you'd like more of his propaganda. Also, be sure to check out his book on what if the south won the civil war, that's full of more nonsense you'll be unable to discern as lies.
Huh, that's weird I'm seeing it now.
ETA: I had still had the page up that I was looking at last night and it and the kindle edition isn't on it, apparently it depends on how you search for it? http://www.amazon.com/Landscape-Turned-Red-Battle-Antietam/dp/B004PGFWGW/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1463884079&sr=1-2
