The coffee table is probably from Amazon. I have the same one and love it.

Edit: as others have mentioned, here is the link.

u/gvasels · 19 pointsr/malelivingspace

It's a bit less than that, but similar to above: Tangkula Glass Coffee Table International Occasion Tea Table https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4NPKIS/

u/haremon · 8 pointsr/malelivingspace

I found two during my searches!

  1. Emerald Home
  2. Best Choice
u/theinfiniteom · 8 pointsr/malelivingspace

Here's a somewhat similar one for $85.99: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H3QGJYW/ref=emc_b_5_t

Yep! I didn't really use anything, I just attached the bottom plank with the stock L brace. It's pretty sturdy.

**edit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004ZHEB0O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's actually the Ikea Lack coffee table. It comes with an extra plank for the bottom shelf.

I've just moved into a 1/1 in South Florida that has a 12.5' x 18' combined living/dining area as in most apartments. I moved with relatively little furniture and am starting fresh. I already have some plans here but want some feedback on my selections and ideas.

To start with —

The couch is a Ryler from Ashley Furniture in steel: https://www.ashleyfurniture.com/p/ryler-sofa/4020138.html

The TV/media unit is a BYÅS from IKEA. It is a glossy white but I am not necessarily trying to let that dictate the rest of the furniture in the room: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/byas-tv-unit-high-gloss-white-80227797/

I also own an Avenal shaded arc lamp from Target (in nickel finish) but haven't assembled it yet: https://www.target.com/p/avenal-shaded-arc-floor-lamp-project-62-153/-/A-52937505?preselect=51021780#lnk=sametab

The walls are white and the floors are a light grey/brown faux wood. The colors of the walls and floors both change a bit depending on the light — sometimes the walls look grey or off-white, but they are white. The floors look more brown than grey in the photo but in direct light they are pretty light. There is one ceiling LED fixture just out of the frame here, but the ceiling fan light kind of sucks and doesn't light the room very well, hence the big lamp.

Here are my plans —

Obviously will be moving my dog's bowls and food

My interior designer girlfriend had one of these foldable coffee tables and I picked one up too and loving it. It's pretty sturdy, foldable, and relatively affordable.

The plant is from Fred Meyer, planter is also from Fred Meyer (only $10!) and the stand is from Target. I can't find the coffee table now, but it was only $60 and was on amazon and wayfair. I wonder if they discontinued it? It was called the Retro Coffee Table by Trent Austin Design.

EDIT: nevermind, found a dupe of the table! https://www.amazon.com/Altra-Retro-Coffee-Sonoma-Gunmetal/dp/B00LGO9ERY

If you know the color you can try to search for other tables in the same finish. You might even be able to contact IKEA and seeing if you can get the matching table. It looks like a craftsman oak or driftwood finish. This table looks similar.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DYR1KHW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_1ngFybHC57YNF

I have that one in a espresso finish and love it. Plus, being a lift-top is great for games or eating. My point is don't settle on something you don't enjoy looking at and using. But, at the same time, don't beat yourself up if it's not an EXACT match. Mine is ever so slightly different but you don't notice unless you're trying to inspect it.

u/its_called_life_dib · 3 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

Many of your colors are similar to the colors on my pinterest board for future decorating, so I'll go ahead drop in a couple links for you on tables!

and

https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70335486/

very similar tables, but Sonmics/Amazon has matching end tables that go with the coffee table if you look around for them. I'm thinking about getting two of those and using that as my coffee table instead, as they'd be easy to relocate if I needed the living room space for something else.

as for art, I don't know what to recommend for you; just that you'll want your focal pieces to have some of the living room colors in them.

u/Hegemon_of_the_toad · 3 pointsr/malelivingspace

Thanks! It's this one from amazon:

No problem. I have my battlestation setup in the living room and love it! Also if you're looking for a semi desk solution check this table out. Best piece of furniture ever.

Pretty cheap price and the quality was surprisingly excellent. It’s solid wood, not particle board.

u/ewenwhatarmy · 3 pointsr/InteriorDesign

I have no idea of this item's quality, but it is similar in nature to what you're seeking: http://www.amazon.com

However, I've learned enough myself and from other people's experience that quality should be your top concern ~ as such I'd second (or 9th at this point) ah18255's boconcept suggestion.

u/kiwiandapple · 2 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

Sorry for being late, this took me lots of hours to make. Didn't get to finish it last night, so continued today.

Note: I only did this for fun, I am not an amazing expert in terms of interior design.

---

I used Google's SketchUp, which is a free 3D rendering . I haven't used this in a long time and also couldn't find the installation file to run this. So instead, I used the browser version. Which worked very well, but I couldn't find props, so I hand made everything.
Yes, the bloody plants were a disaster! I also went a bit crazy on my own picasso. Deal with it!

  • 3D render pictures:
  • Picture 1
  • Picture 2
  • Picture 3

  • Size reference list:
  • Couch, TV table, TV, Coffee table, Bookshelf
  • Chair, Small round table, Slim side table, Plant (lol)

    ---

Overall, I am not too sure about the fireplace. It feels a bit too cramped, but I had it further away from the fireplace which made it a bit awkward in terms of the couch.
I do really like the couch, but maybe instead of the coffee table, get either a smaller one or not one at all. You could consider a small TV stand and wall mount the TV instead.

Anyway, if you have any question. Don't hesitate to ask!

Newly acquired college pad.. really struggling to commit to a rug just because the floor is so busy. I really like those vintage looking rugs with patterns but I think it would be way to busy with these floors. Also trying to stray away from getting a solid white/light grey since I don't have any color in the room.

Also I just purchased this round coffee table, hoping it'll suit the room?

I know the TV is too high, please don't roast me.

Good idea. The angular rotation desk design is an oddball I think, probably not many in commercial circulation but I'll look. Most are scissor lift or straight up/down somehow. Edit: Guess this really wouldn't matter on the design. Whatever commercial electric desks are using to lift should be rated for about the same. I'll have a look.

There are some non-motorized versions of a coffee table that have good design using springs and gas lifts Albeit these work due to a weighted base. Mine is very light.
Thank you

u/Petit_Hibou · 2 pointsr/InteriorDesign

Hah, I love it! If you're looking for a similar concept at a cheaper price point, how about this , or this. They're glass instead of acrylic, but they might be more within your reach.
Either way, I think the living room looks great! Nice work!

u/leanstotheleftabit · 2 pointsr/HomeDecorating

I'm really glad you linked the links and ideas. That art is a good example of how three pieces, presented well (framed, matted, good alignment/spacing) can really add to a room. And those storage cubes you can get at Walmart or Target (or your local equivalent) for cheap too.

> Also, you mentioned a coffee table but you linked something that Amazon says is a bench, I guess you just repurposed it instead?

Eh, bench style. Officially it is called the Nelson Platform Bench. It has been around for 70 years, but you wouldn't know it because it's just the kind of design that never goes out of style. Like Wayfarer sunglasses. That one link I posted is basically the same design, just with different legs.

While I'm on it, those Eiffel side chairs I linked to are almost as old, designed by Ray and Charles Eames, who are pretty famous in the mid-century modern style. Some models cost a pretty penny, but you can do a lot cheaper. You said you already had eating chairs, so maybe not these right away.

It sounds like a storage ottoman that can pull up to the couch may be more what you're after. Something like this or this?

This and this or this are other coffee table ideas with more storage. Apologies if Amazon does not ship to your area.

Home sweet home needs a gorgeous accented Coffee Table

A Room divider although I'm not sure how well this fits your theme I think it's pretty.

A Jewelry Box and Another one

Some wall Mirrors Mirror2

We have One Two and Three Cabinet knobs.

I think these Suitcases would be good for storage and decor. Here's Another with a different Finish.

Floral Curtains

Quilt Rack?

One Two Three Four Pillow designs.

I think that's all for now xD Hope I stuck with the theme okay.

EDIT: I thought a Cuckoo Clock would be cool but that might stray a bit from the English part of the decor xD

I got it for $149 — the price fluctuates between $120 and $170 and goes completely out of stock often. But, I can attest to it’s quality. Good for the price.

Looks fantastic. Love the X's and the metal. Where did you get the screens from though, and would they be weight bearing? I've been looking at this table on Amazon for a year now wondering if I should make it myself (obviously that would cost way more and I'm on a budget unfortunately), but I always stopped at where would I get the hardware from.

Congrats on the new place !!

May I suggest this beautiful coffee table as a lovely center piece or a side table? You could follow this up by adding these mystifying lamps

I live in a 230sqft studio and I have my bed on a FOLDABLE metal platform (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Foldable-Platform-Under-Bed-Storage/dp/B073WRF565) , I also have it on risers so that I can put my storage bins underneath (ie extra blankets, winter gear, camping gear, etc) As for a mattress, I have a Nectar mattress. I also used to sleep on the floor lol I didn’t have any issues with it but it took up a lot of space that I didn’t have at my studio.

I have a couch that is also a futon for guests and it also came in a box so if I need to move again, I I could easily break it down to fit it in my hatchback. (https://www.amazon.com/Novogratz-Brittany-Sofa-Futon-Linen/dp/B01LY1WBQN) it looks expensive, a little on the firm side but still comfortable with the right pillows. I got it on prime day for $200 😅

I don’t have a closet but I have an ikea wardrobe. It’s small and has allowed me to downsize on my clothing.

I also have this coffee table that looks pretty good and the legs can fold down and I can put it away if I need more space. (https://www.amazon.com/AZUMAYA-Folding-Coffee-Center-TAC-229/dp/B0077HY08M)
