Silver has a centuries-long history as an antibacterial and antimicrobial. What's more, it's notoriously easy to make yourself. For decades, the American medical establishment shunned its use, (largely because it can't be patented) but with the resurgence of its applications in alternative medicine, companies (like Pfizer) have started mixing it in to their chemical concoctions so it can be prescribed as "real" medicine.

Very sorry about your loved one's illness. If the stuff the doc gave you works, you might want to try pure topical colloidal silver. It's much more potent, doesn't have any of the additives, and is likely much cheaper:

Great for sinus infections, colds, cuts, viruses, fungal infections.
Doctors just want to give you antibiotics, steroids or surgery.

No, it won't turn you blue.

Crystal deodorant is great! If you want to take it to the next level, spritz this to moisten your pits instead of plain water when using the crystal, and be amazed at how odorless you are! They have a fantastic synergy.

Why would you buy that instead of something like this, which seems much cheaper? Honest question.

Gum inflammation? I thought this was a life threatening infection or something. What the actual fuck, doctors?

Here is an article on using colloidal silver for a gum infection. Colloidal silver is also anti-inflammatory, so it would work great for that, too.

Here is a product I've had success with. I get their nasal spray for sinus infections and allergies. Strong stuff!

Elementary school teacher, here!

When you feel your ears, nose, and/or throat start to tickle or hurt...

  • Squirt some silver into the back of your throat a few times a day to maybe kill some bad shit.

  • Put some hydrogen peroxide in your ears to maybe get some of the bad shit out.

  • Gargle with warm salt water a couple of times a day.

  • Drink a shit-ton of water.

  • Go to sleep early.

  • Wear your favorite clothes and take extra time with hair, make-up, etc. I often find that when I know I look put-together, I feel and act more put-together--preventing me from wallowing and allowing myself to feel sicker and sicker, if that makes sense.

I do this every time I start to feel throat pain or congestion. I have not gotten a cold or flu in two years, so this works for me. Obviously every person's body is different and everyone needs to figure out what works for him or her!

I hope you feel better soon!

This is the one I use, you can order it directly from Amazon. I got mine from Fred Meyer but you can likely find it at any local natural foods store.

All my research indicated I should use Silver Salve. After hours of researching I got this page that recommended it. Did the vet tell you to keep the turtle dry for at least two hours a day? I keep mine out of the water for overnight and she goes back into the water during the day so she can bask.

We use this one (neither me or partner has throid issues, and we don't use this consistently just when we get a cut). Still, I don't have any special medical expertise, so if you're concerned about the risks then perhaps something else more conventionally used to help cuts heal quickly would still be a nice gift!

Check out silver colloidal. I have been taking it for the last 7 years.

It kind of fixed everything honestly. I was in the same exact place you are at. The antibiotics made the swelling and pain go away, but I could still feel the sensation of having it. After 3-4 days of using the silver I definitely felt a huge difference. I’ve only had one flair up since I first got it (around 1-1/2 years ago) and when I used the silver it went away within 2-3 days. Definitely try the smaller bottle to make sure it is going to work for you. Take it in the morning and at night. This was the bottle I got. Try the small one to make sure it works for you. I have something you absolutely need to try out and I promise you will never look back, its like a miracle for your skin in every way. I have super super sensitive skin and before accutane a few years ago I had cystic acne that thank God cleared or id be dead it was so horrible.
Still though shaving still easily made me breakout from sensitivity until I found this stuff called colloidal silver and got it in a gel form that I put on after shaving and sometimes before bed to really heal my skin and no words describe how it clears and removes every little spot of my skin, and has no burn or chemical crap that burns to use, its like aloe vera as far as resemblance goes.

No joke my sisters boyfriend had this skin condition called Tinea Versicolor spreading all over his chest and whole body and the dermatologist said it was uncurable and literally everything he tried didnt help until I got him a tube of this stuff for his birthday and I kid you not, one week later and his uncurable condition was almost nonexistent. I will post the link to what I got its not even very expensive, God bless!

FYI, I've tried this on 2 plants now with this product and it hasn't worked, so maybe avoid that brand. And:

  1. Yes

  2. Pollinating a second plant will give you a genetic mix of the 2 plants, so you could choose to cross it with another phenotype or strain.

  3. You can do this. Some plants have mechanisms to discourage self pollination, but weed doesn't because in normal circumstances it needs 2 plants to reproduce.

    Good luck!
u/dafttmonkk7 · 0 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Hey, sorry to hear nothing you've tried is working. A lot of people will probably tell you it's your diet, which I guess is entirely possible if you're the type of person sensitive to things you eat. But if you've tried a healthy diet already to no avail (like a lot of other people do), you should go to a dermatologist and have them prescribe you something like an antibiotic. I wouldn't recommend oral antibiotics because I took them and my acne only cleared temporarily. The drug I was given worked for a short period and then stopped working.

If you're interested, I did some quick research and I found a type of OTC product known as "silver serum." It's typically in cream form and is meant to both soothe + disinfect so it shouldn't be drying or give you a chemical burns. I haven't tried it myself but from what I've read, it does its job fairly well in killing bad bacteria. I actually might order some just because I'm in the middle of a flare up right now. This right here is a link to one that I found on amazon. It might be worth looking into. Like I said, I have noo experience with it, but it could do you some good. Btw I am not a doctor nor do I plan to be one or claim to be one blah blah blah, I'm a college kid majoring in comp sci, so don't take this product recommendation as any kind of medical advice. It's just another option for you that you might not have heard of yet.

Good luck,

dafttmonkk7

edit: okay so actually maybe not a great idea to use gel containing silver as someone pointed out below that it can turn your skin blue with excessive use over time.

Do you have any dental issues or any dental hardware in your mouth? Honestly, for your breath to smell like that, something has to be rotting. If it is in your mouth you could try this colloidal silver. If there is an infection in your mouth, this will help clear it up quickly.
