Assuming this is the correct bike, it's actually size 700c.

Looks similar to to the Schwinn Sierra and to the Diamondback but rides a little higher it looks like then the Diamondback, highly discounted on craigslist.

I think it may be an XDS explorer but I'm not sure if the markings quite match up. Any hall would be greatly appreciated

If you don't need a lot of rear travel and you replace ALL moving parts with better components then this softtail would probably provide the largest triangle

It's a shame there are not more modern bike frames placing rear shock outside the triangle like that. Would be great to find one with stock disc brakes and a nice fork. Though you can swap the fork on it for something that has a post mount for a disc brake caliper easily enough.

For other frames check out this list from the wiki

Would you be interested in one of these, size small, used in great shape? If not no worries 👍

Oh my gosh, The Kit with battery is only $629??

Dude this is awesome!!

That’s it, I was putting off building an e-bike but now that I found this kit, I’m doing it too!

So, I have a 27.5” Raleigh Venture 1.0 that I want to convert. Anyone got any tips for me as well??

OP, I’d say to go for it.

Full disclosure I’ve never done an ebike conversion and don’t know how the rim brakes are gonna hold up.

Here’s the bike I currently own, Bought it for the Low
And I imagine it’ll be just fine. Anyone have any tips or objections to this bike and kit combo?

It's a Trek. You're going to end up paying $300 just for the opportunity to own a trek. You can get a comparable Diamondback or Raleigh with much better specs for around $1000. Much better spec. You get an Air Fork, Avid Hydraulic Brakes, and a dependable SRAM gruppo. Can't beat it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0041V4EIS/?tag=diamonbicycl-20
