Have a look at Keyscape.
Demo on YouTube.
You don't need to sell your current piano, just connect it via USB to a reasonably speedy computer and connect the computer to whatever audio system you have.

I just did a search on Amazon for FL Studio Producer Edition. I only see $199.00. Amazon is selling the physical version and once your registered you will get lifetime updates.

Unless you want to pay shipping costs and such you might as well get the digital version from the image line website. Being that you have to register for the updates.

Ah, I see. https://www.amazon.com/Internet-10802341-Vocaloid3-Megpoid-English/dp/B00BFLLXUE There's a 'recommended range' here or so, but doesn't mean you can't experiment either, tho sometimes ppl tune female voices a bit too high for my tastes rather than trying to go deeper. Maybe also look up songs her voice provider sings too? (That said, nothing wrong with being influenced by other songs too, I personally like ballads, but I know there's a lot of vbs that fit rock as well, I think ppl have even done heavy metal/screamo with GUMI but not as much songs compared to Luka's)

Okay, the korg nanokey 2 I can recommend, I have one myself. It's not perfect by any means but it gets the job done. The way it works goes as follows.

It uses a standard Usb connector that plugs into a computer. Once connected it will install the drivers. You then need a DAW, the nanokey does come with some piano software, it isn't very good. A proper DAW is what you need. I use magix music maker 2013

http://www.amazon.com/MAGIX-639191111143-Music-Maker-2013/dp/B009FUEPBG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1408483437&sr=8-5&keywords=magix+music+maker

It is cheap and although not as feature packed as professional DAWs such as Samplitude or Ableton, you can add to it as you please, I now have quite a large collection of free VSTs.

anyway without a connection to a computer or an ipad (needs adapter) you can't do anything with it, it is an input device.

Once you have your Daw you need to go into the audio midi settings and select nanokey 2 in the input and output section. Close and then re-open the program.

Choose your instrument and when you press the keys it will translate it appropriately.

One note though in Magix Music 2013 if you open the daw, while the nanokey is unplugged and then plug the keyboard in, you'll have to re-select the nanokey in the midi settings and close and reopen magix, it won't work otherwise.
The VSTs I think are good.

There are many free and paid options available.
I hope this helps.

275? Yikes! I could get Sound Forge Pro for 20$ less.

Looks like I may have to pony up for SFP.

You could buy FL Studio.

Personally, I'd buy Fire Emblem: Fates, but that's me.

You can buy the student edition which is a discounted version of signature edition. It has all of the same features. You have to buy it in a physical copy from a reseller. I got mine from guitar center's web shop and it works great.

Looks like amazon sells it.
