Everyone's giving you advice about shrugging it off and going the tuppedor route, but I think the thing you're missing here is that you bought this thing and if it happened in transit then you should call them about getting a new one or at least a refund. I have this one and while its certainly nothing amazing, it's a humidor and its working just fine. I struggled with the rh at first because I simply didn't understand it but now it's fine and looks pretty classy....the only downside is that I discovered cbid, so now I have like 50 sticks coming in...for my "50"-count humidor....which is already filled with about 30.

The arcade buttons came with all the relevant wiring and the usb cable.
I got a coupon that I used on the tea box, which is why it was less than $30 total for me, but it still ain't an expensive box. I also drilled all the button holes into the bottom of the box, because the bottom is made of particle board and much less prone to splintering when cut/drilled.
(I already had this from making my trash stick). The printed design is one I saw on Pinterest--not my own. It's really meant for a marquee but I adapted the sizing of the image for this. I might suggest others use a paper with a glossy finish, or design their sticker on redbubble for a higher quality finish. That would probably be more convenient, since the box is longer than a standard piece of printer paper so I had to add more sticker to the ends (that's the brown borders along the right and left side). You could also just not screw up with ugly holes like me and then not do a sticker at all. =P

Humidor + 10 cigars for $30 (This does not seem to be the same humidor, but I ordered one and I'll see just how different they are.) This one is much better quality than the first one!
This is my first humidor, and I was impressed by the quality when it arrived. I would have expected something of this quality to be too rich for my blood.
In following the advice of a reviewer, I'm currently calibrating the hygrometer with salt water in a bag, and I'll charge it up with a shot glass of water tonight!
Edit: And...my hygrometer is broken. It wasn't calibrated correctly, and the needle ceased to move (broke?) when I tried to adjust it. I've contacted the vendor to see if they'll send me a single hygrometer.
Edit2: I'm returning it to Amazon due to the broken hygrometer and buying the $30 + 10 cigars instead. Hopefully I have better luck with that one.

Glue some lips in there, made from cut down pieces of another cigar box. Most tobacco shops will either give or sell them to you for cheap. Table saw or circular saw will do just fine. Use Tite-Bond or other types of Aliphatic resin glues made for wood.
But really, you shouldn't have to do this. If you plan on doing this for any length of time, get yourself a cheap 100-ct humidor like this Bally and be done with it. That's a great humi and don't know that I've ever seen anyone complain about the seals.
It it doesn't have those lips, what you have now is a box, not a humidor. I wouldn't use those if you're thinking of keeping the smokes longer than a few days.
This is a pretty good humidor for only around $40 with shipping.
As far as Cutters i'd suggest staying away from the cheap ones (you'll be constantly replacing them), and picking up a nice Xikar, I'm partial to the Xikar V-Cut
As for cigars, I'd suggest checking out some of the samplers on sites like Smallbatchcigars.com, cheaphumidors.com, cigar.com, cigarsinternational.com and even cigarbid.com, It may seem a bit daunting at first, but many sites will have a flavor profile and strength indication for the cigar, as well as a blurb about what to expect and customer reviews. One thing to be mindful of is over-inflated prices on the Ghurka line, you'll see sites advertising them as 90% off MSRP! but still like $60 a box, most people here will be more than happy to share their hate for Gurkha with you, and to be honest there are only a handful of good cigars from them imo.
Ya it’s the best. So I roll a lot of blunts and joints and I even break up my bud for bowls. Well In the past I would break my bud up on anything(magazine, video game,table) and would lose a lot of kief just on the break up. The kief box is a little box you break your bud up on, it has a screen so all the kief you would typically lose on the surface you break it up on , is caught. I never realized how much I was losing until I got it. After breaking up maybe 3 blunts, I’ll have like 2 bowls of kief. It’s legit. Highly recommend it

FYI this specifically says they have custard (カスタード) in them. It might be the closest to what you're looking for. Snacks here are very seasonal and/or limited; you might find a snack you like once, only to return to the same place a short time later to find it's not there. Rotating out flavors and such is VERY popular. Can't tell you how many times I've found potato chips I love, only to never find them again.

I edited my price. My scumbag brain twisted the 5 and 7. Still is under $150 rounding up. If I look for those cigars on atlantic, cigar.com and famous smoke or any site you get a reddit discount, easy to shave the price down. You can certainly get that humidor for next to nothing on amazon.

It's probably on the same lines of quality but for my first one, I figured it wouldn't be too much out of my pocket if it ends up being crap. I use tea bag organizers. I have to pad the bottom for some lipsticks but it has worked really well for me and I like the way it looks.
If you're going to go full Cool Uncle on this, I recommend presenting the saber in a wooden box, something like this.
This can be either natural, or fancied up with wood stain outside and foam with fabric over it on the inside. This can make a fun project, for pretty cheap.
The blade would be separate, true - but a maximum level Cool Uncle will have the blade and an Allen wrench handy, maybe in a shinai bag with a couple of spare blades.
I personally have one cabinet similar to this under our TV for large glass pieces, and a stash drawer in my room, the drawer is dying for some organization so I recently ordered This Box so can't wait to get things more organized

I've actually got mine in an art storage box like this, I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby and used a coupon so it ended up being like $10 or less. I got it as a cheaper alternative to a train case and it's worked pretty well for me, I like it because I can close it up and move it and it keeps everything pretty safe.

Well, sort of, but a humidifier is generally used to humidify a whole room or something, and a humidor is specifically for keeping and/or aging cigars. Here's a good example of one. They can vary in size though. That's more on the small end, but I've seen whole rooms rigged as humidors.

That's a big box. I hope you're not putting anything heavy in something that size. Depending on where you are, moving companies will sell you boxes and deliver them. They are expensive but they'll be selling you ones they're happy to use themselves.
As a mover, while you can get free boxes in supermarkets but they're not well looked after and once they deform or dent they will take very little punishment before they split or crush. Also, since I guess you'll be paying someone to move your stuff, you're better off having boxes with a consistent size- it massively cuts the time it takes to load a truck.
Do not go anywhere near the boxes sold by Ikea or argos or any of the other ones with the raw cardboard finish- tape doesn't stick to them which makes them a fucking nightmare and a prime reason for stuff getting broken or lost on your move. The Ikea ones are particularly shit. Basically, as long as the cardboard has printing on the outside you're laughing. Also, don't use duct tape. It doesn't stick to any boxes. Use actual packing tape.
Something like this is better. Smoother finish and better tape sticking-ness.

I tend to enjoy some scotch with them, I don't know if that is any help. I have looked into some sort of storage device because I tend to smoke 1-2 on the weekends rather than mid week. If you have a local store near you, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by and purchasing your cigars from them. They will give you all the advice that you need. They will also usually give you a free cutter/lighter which is essentially all you need.
Edit. If you are just starting. You don't need a humidor. They just look fancy. You can toss one of these in the plastic bag you buy the cigars in and its basically humidified for up to 60 days.

Amazon, and order these. 20 quid for 5, and believe me that's a lot of box. They fold in and out of shape, are incredibly sturdy, no tape necessary, and are 100% reusable, got them for my last move and I'll be using the same ones for my next move. If you like, I could unfold one and take a scaled picture. The pictures of the woman holding them on the ad are completely inaccurate, they're much bigger in reality.

If it has to be bought from amazon, my friend and I each have this one of these right now, performs quite well. However, if you can, I would actually try out cigarbid for humidors, they usually have all the standard humidors for a great price if you can pull the bid off.

I got one identical to this one. It looks nice for sure, however I find it seriously leaks contrary to the “sureseal” technology. From some of the reviews people written, some people suspect the leak is due to the hydrometer not being sealed properly. I’d buy the used one if I were to re-buy this product.

Well, for a case that can't push down on the Switch it would need to be a hard case. Not ridged but pliable, actualy hard. Solid. It would also need to fit snugly around the controller so it can't bounce. If hard plastic cases exist for the Pro Controller I can't find them.
You could try making one though. I believe this box would work. The dimensions are the same or larger than the box the Pro Controller comes in. You should do your own measurements though.
Then you'll need to line it with foam. You can get foam where you pull out pieces of it to shape. You an make an outline of a pro controller in the bottom and holes for the sticks to sit in in the top.. Again, you should probably do your own measurements to determine what depth of foam you'll need.
Go on cbid, you can get a deal. Or hit amazon thats what I got for my first humidor, it works well. Don't take advantage of the nice people on this sub.
