Definitely a useless talent as you could just buy some.
Even if they aren't, it's awfully easy to remove the cap from a bottle, empty it, fill it with something else, and then replace the cap with a new cap that has an unbroken seal.

A couple bucks on Amazon could go a long way for trolling your religious family members and friends.
What I do is use a funnel, and carefully pour it into a 4oz bottle. Easy.
Also, try measuring by weight. That's pretty easy too.
> Soak the cut off bottle top in the hot water for 30 seconds or so. This will make the plastic pliable enough that you can pull off the intact cap and sealing ring without breaking the seal.
All that work for a 28 cent cap?

You guys are all trying waaaay too hard with this. Let me introduce you to REPLACEMENT CAPS!
Order this and you'll be golden. Add some vodka or white rum to the bottle and you can get in scott free. 8 bucks for peace of mind is worth it IMO.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B5134FG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I paid about $4 for this. I'm sure the price will go back down when they're in stock. It has never leaked a drop.
The bottles themselves are these: (Pack of 12) 2 oz. Clear Boston Round with Black Poly Cone Cap (20/400) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072HNRNGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_tizJBb2R8Y8AY
But see https://speak-easy.club which has nothing to do with Reddit
or buy these... as mention previously in this sub.

Or you could do 2.50 for 24 of them.
https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Boston-Round-Black/dp/B072HNRNGK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2J59L8T5PU6BQ&keywords=2+oz+boston+round+glass+bottle&qid=1565484446&s=gateway&sprefix=2+oz+Boston%2Caps%2C164&sr=8-3
try these just drink the water, refill with clear liquor and screw a new cap on the bottle.
I've read that water bottles are highly suspicious just because products like this exist: http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Screw-Caps-Bottle-28mm/dp/B0064ODVLG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1425705118&sr=8-5&keywords=water+bottle+caps
I've solved your problem for you. Low density condiment bottles. They work like a dream for both VG and PG

Lay off the cock sauce.
You can also buy caps off of amazon
like this: http://www.amazon.com/Vestil-BTL-RC-8-Polyethylene-Dispensing-Removable/dp/B00B5138SO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1452311523&sr=8-1&keywords=ldpe+squeeze+bottle
For squeeze bottles I love Meguiar's Bottles.
For spraying I'm partial to Chemicalguys Sprayers although, you could probably find them for cheaper. They're Tolco sprayers on some bottle. They work well, but I need to get some Foaming sprayers soon for wheel cleaners and things of that nature.
Whenever I start getting through my gallon of ONR i'm probably going to buy a 16oz bottle of ONR, pour it into my gallon container, and then use the bottle with one of my CG/Tolco sprayers so it is nicely labeled. That's what I've done with my Adam's stuff. I buy a 16oz bottle for testing and then a gallon and just keep filling the 16oz so it stays nice and labeled. I think I've heard that you can talk to Adam's Customer Support about these bottles and get them to send you bottles with stickers of their actual products.
I see your wishlist...VG...& these & these squeeze bottles. That was confusing as fuck for a minute. Are those squeeze bottles you meant?
hi, i'd love to change the way you do poppers today!
i don't like the combination of lube, usually drinking, and doing poppers with my girlfriend. we actually spilled a whole bottle doing this once, so i figured out a better way.
go to amazon (or even a walmart) and get one of these.
take a small piece of paper towel or napkin (something more absorbant than TP or kleenex), and roll it up like a wick. insert into bottle, the pour a small amount of your poppers in the bottle. the wick absorbs all the liquid, you get amazing fumes trapped in there, and whenever you want a hit, you flip the top, squeeze, and a huge hit rushes into your body via forced air.
added benefit? you only open your bottle once per session, so your poppers stay fresher longer, instead of open/close/open/close etc every time you want to hit them.
i've been doing this at least twice a week for a long time and it's the perfect way to do poppers. for an added bonus rush, blow the air into your mouth instead of your nose. gets there quicker, seems to hit even harder this way.
enjoy, popperbaters!
I have used this at a few Broncos game. Buy a big water bottle empty fill with vodka, bring in tea and mix. Broncos allow sealed bottles.

I use this 8 oz bottle. It works well.

For reference:
As for the mixing equipment, see below:
The pipettes are good to have just in case you only need to transfer a little bit of PG or get a flavoring that doesn't come in a dripper bottle. If you purchase from one of the three flavor vendors I referenced in my post, they will come in dripper bottles. You may never use the pipettes.
My personally recommended list of flavors to start with, aside from the flavors you will buy for recipes you find:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/45ccfd/the_unofficial_list_of_flavors_for_beginners/
Just pick whatever you think sounds good on this list and you CANNOT go wrong.
I do pretty much what this lady does, but I just apply the stuff topically. I buy dried licorice root from my local natural food store. Recipe: 1 cup water:4 heaping tablespoons of licorice root (which lasts me about 2 weeks). I steep the extract for 1-2 days and then filter it through a fine mesh strainer into a squeeze bottle I bought at a cooking supply store. My licorice extract lives in my fridge, next to my OST. :)
EDIT: My friend was asking the same thing, so I made an imgur album. And looking through it, I just realized I need to throw out my expired dashi! @.@
I put them in ldpe bottles from BCV. The only place I buy bottles from, except for a recent purchase of these, which I'm really liking.
Oil (and other art supplies) that you find specifically for artists use has not been graded safe for food use. The stuff you buy at the grocery store may have other additives that will make polymerization difficult. Personally I would not recommend food grade materials to use in oil painting or visa versa.
As for solvents. So… oil paint on its own is very fat. Any oil you use as a medium is also a fat. There are times when you’ll want to cut the fat, especially in the underlayers. You’ll want a solvent for that. You also need certain solvents to make mediums.
But there are ways to use it so you’re not blowing through it. I suggest you use Gamsol, which is odorless mineral spirits. It’s the safest of the solvents that I’ve found and won’t skunk you out (but still use good ventilation). You can recycle turpentine and mineral spirits. When you’re done painting seal the jar (I put my solvent in an old sauce jar with a locking lid). In a couple days the pigment will settle to the bottom and you can pour off the clean solvent slowly into a new jar. Go back and forth until it’s too gross. Dispose at a hazardous waste site. NEVER POUR SOLVENTS DOWN THE DRAIN... Unless you enjoy fucking up your plumbing.
These days I use MENDA Pure Touch Liquid Pump Bottle Clear 4 oz (Model: 35576) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AVXKBG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_oolhAb3FCQZ70 for my mineral spirits as it slows down evaporation. If you get one make sure it’s glass or metal and not plastic.
For clean up instead of using solvents I use poppy seed oil to get the pigment out. Load up the brush and wipe until clean, then soap and water to get the oil out. Solvents are hard on bristles and using poppyseed keeps them conditioned. Poppyseed is a lighter oil than linseed. Btw all the oils used in painting are seed/nut based, all yellow eventually. Linseed yellows the slowest which is one of the reasons why it’s commonly used today. Walnut also discolors slowly and dries slow too. Stand oil is the same as linseed, but it’s boiled to that it’s thicker. Lavender oil isn’t easy to come by where I’m at unless it’s ordered online. I’m curious but not yet to the point where I want to buy it.
So yah. That’s my take. Hope that helps
You will still have to reapply mineral oil, once a year or so for best results. Just include a small 2oz bottle full of it. For their first reapplication.
845 is great but yea thin thin thin. These are the bottle I put the 845 in works great Amazon
I use one of these but I agree wholeheartedly on the store ones.
I looked up my original order from many years ago, and I got this kit: https://www.dharmatrading.com/dyes/kits/choose-your-own-colors-little-group-tie-dye-kit.html
With the Neon color set: https://www.dharmatrading.com/dyes/fiber-reactive-dye-custom-color-sets.html
These days, though, I prefer these bottles for more control and because I mix less dye in more colors than I did at first: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FSMJWG
I like to just thin all the paint at once and put it into a squeeze bottle. These are the a good size to get a 2:1 ratio with Mr. Hobby paints.
https://www.amazon.com/Bekith-Dispensing-Bottles-Boston-Plastic/dp/B07KZK6JRW/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1YPOC7KFNDBQ9&keywords=twist+top+squeeze+bottle&qid=1571321413&sprefix=Twist+top+%2Caps%2C205&sr=8-4
Thanks! If I were to buy a glass pump bottle, do you think that would keep water and bacteria out effectively? Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Cobalt-Glass-Boston-Bottles/dp/B00DVQVJYG
So you want the proper weight for pg/vg/nicotine, other than that you can use 1g/ml for ANY flavoring. It won't be 100% correct, but if you are making your recipes and everything uses 1g/ml it won't matter that it's not perfectly accurate since your recipe's will all be based on this slight inaccuracy. The important thing is nic/pg/vg
I personally use squeeze bottles I got off amazon.
Then for flavorings you can use them how they come. If they come in little glass bottles with no dropper top I would grab the 1000 disposable pipettes on amazon for like $10 and you'll be set.
You can get smaller bottles based on how much volume you're mixing. But its much easier than drawing a syringe, VG can be a pain to draw. With squeeze bottles its soo much easier/faster/higher accuracy
I would check out this guide from a fellow DIYer (Botboy)
I transfer all of my flavorings in to 1oz glass dropper bottles. My VG, PG, and nic are transferred to 8oz squeeze bottles so I can easily add it to my mixes. There's no waste, nothing to clean up, and I can make a 20ml batch in just a couple minutes and a 125ml batch in only a couple minutes more.
For recipe calculation I just use an Excel sheet where I have every flavor's specific gravity referenced for use in a formula to automatically adjust for my batch size.
I really don't think it could get any easier than this.
Ive been saving the Yellow Bird bottles I use. Dunno what they’re called but they’re the best for squeezing out hot sauce.
Found these... I guess they’re callled Boston round bottles with Yorker caps.
Here you go dude. These are 180ml bottles like OHW. They have other sizes as well.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B5137DK/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_a9Y-wb46Z5B76
If you are in the US Amazon is a great option - https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Boston-Round-Black/dp/B072HNRNGK?crid=2PL3IW2S9M0WY&keywords=boston+round+bottles+2oz&qid=1538139928&sprefix=boston+round+%2Caps%2C161&sr=8-3&ref=sr_1_3 would be one listing. You want 2oz glass boston rounds.
they're these bottles. i definitely went a little nuts after i got my tax refund back. i also had some extra money from some unanticipated consulting and just went crazy.
Alternatively, don't be the kind of person who thinks this is a wild invention by a price-gouging company and pay a fraction of the amount:
http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Screw-Caps-Bottle-28mm/dp/B0064ODVLG/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1395071756&sr=8-1&keywords=pet+bottle+cap
You can also buy PET bottlecaps at any homebrew shop.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0064ODVLG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527201930&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=plastic+bottle+caps+for+soda+bottles&dpPl=1&dpID=31Y891c53eL&ref=plSrch
Thanks. I'm placing an Amazon order for pipettes and these bottles.
Anything else you recommend picking up? I was going to use pipettes for flavorings, and the bottles for PG/VG/Nicotine.
I use this for VG as well as my 100ml batches: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B010GYUP68/ref=sr_ph_1?qid=1458429244&sr=sr-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=ldpe+bottle+4oz
It's very squeezable. You cut the tip as big as you want it and caps are included.
http://amzn.com/B00B5138SO
I don't know if they can handle bottle conditioning, though I would be hesitant to try. They are 32 oz apothecary bottles that I saw on homebrewfinds. They were on sale on Amazon for like $26 per 12 pack at the time.
The lid has a seal in it that makes them particularly good for holding carbonation.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003G2ZXII/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Edit: Reading the reviews it seems a lot of people use them for conditioning and carbonating Kombucha tea. If that's the case, it would probably work for bottle conditioning beer too.
You can buy fresh lids for water bottles on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Screw-Caps-Bottle-28mm/dp/B0064ODVLG
When you screw them on, they seal and the ring breaks when you unscrew the lid.
Not only are they useful for faking miracles, but for smuggling booze into festivals that only allow bottled water. Also for poisoning idiot coworkers who try to steal your bottles of water from the office fridge.
For storing paraphernalia/lighters/whatevs, nothing beats a nice wooden box. Now, onto airtight containers for the ganj itself.
This is my foolproof method for un-smelling your stash. It got me through a year in the dorms with an active RA. First, you'll want a prescription pill bottle. I linked to Amazon in case you don't have one lying around. Next, you'll need a mason jar. That link will buy you twelve, so you can use the other ones to drink out of/store produce or jams or jellies/make candles/do shenanigans. You place the pill bottle into the jar, and-here's the genius part I have yet to see on Reddit-fill the jar with ground-up coffee. Fresh stuff is preferable, as is stronger stuff. Seal the jar. Enjoy the incognito storage.
Could try these. I have a bunch but haven't got around to filling them to see how well the top works with thickish fluids like soap. I would think fine though.

8oz
Yorker: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B5139AG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6SsNAbGSK0TDK
Twist: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072C6TNS7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_5UsNAbZMHMPG6
I prefer twist but to each their own...
okay, I know you're on /r/DIY_eJuice so I'm assuming you've mixed before. I keep my PG and VG I mix with in large bottles like this because I mix by weight to cut down on clean up time and waste. As you know, VG can cause a bubble or blockage at the top of a bottle if it isn't carefully poured into it. Since unicorn bottles have a narrower opening when the cap is removed, they are harder to fill, with or without a pipette.
To follow up, here’s something’s I grabbed to get started with mixing.
American Weigh Scales LB-501...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005UGBG20 ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This scale has worked amazingly. I don’t think I’ve had to change the batteries yet. Just make sure you calibrate it when you get it and always make sure it’s set to grams when you start mixing.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GUIMD9Q?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These bottles work great with storing premix. I buy it buy the gallon, so four of these bottle will hold that. Keeps the nicotine fresh. Also be sure to store in a cool dark place.
510 Central Boston Round LDPE... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072FSMJWG?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These bottles are good priced and fairly leak resistant. My pre mix is 10/90 pg/vg, since the flavoring is all pg based. Anything with a smaller nozzle is a huge pain to get out so the wider nozzle helps here. It can be a bit tricky depending on your tank. Most newish ones seem have a big enough hole though.
Anymore questions feel free to ask! You found the right place. Everything I know about DIY I learned off this subreddit. Good luck!
bottled water + homebrew bottle caps, you can put them on and they're unbroken after you replace all the water with vodka.
This is how I'll go on my next cruise.
8 oz Amber Bottles
What I use most right now are these 4 oz. LDPE with a twist top, and I LOVE them for my staples that I use a lot of (probably cheaper on the 518 site):
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FSMJWG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and these for batches of things I won't vape all day, but want around:
cobalt blue 15 ml
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FSMJWG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and the same ones in green for tests:
https://smile.amazon.com/Vivaplex-Green-Glass-Bottles-Droppers/dp/B06X18SCYM/
These have worked for me. So nice to use for homemade hot sauce (strained only! Small tip), oils, vinegars. Makes using those items for finishing super easy and clean and you can look like a pro with the presentation.
https://www.amazon.com/Vestil-BTL-RC-6-Polyethylene-Dispensing-Removable/dp/B00B5137DK/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1550376576&sr=1-1&keywords=Vestil+bottle
I think most people prefer 2 oz Boston Rounds with polycone caps, which are available on Amazon. they also come in other sizes.
e.g.
https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Clear-Boston-Round-Black/dp/B072HNRNGK
you'll also want a small funnel if you don't already have one.
I use cotton balls and one of these pump-dispenser bottles with 91% alcohol. The cotton balls are super cheap and the pump dispenser makes it super easy, just dab it on there a couple times, wipe and throw away.
Wallgreens also sells a similar bottle with 100% pure acetone for a couple bucks.
get on my level
Or just buy soda caps and put a new one on...http://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Screw-Caps-Bottle-28mm/dp/B0064ODVLG
