Not a khaki, but you skating out of work means I have to pick up your slack. You at least you know you're being selfish so no lecture. To answer your question, take this with you to watch so you can suck it up, buttercup.

Get these Re-usable straws instead of trying to act all offended or entitled.

Literally the only people impacted by the ban on disposable straws would be people who make their living selling them.

u/sevargmas · 7 pointsr/battlestations

It's not like you can't find them. Prob still sell at Walmart.

EDIT: Yep. And obligitory Amazon link as well.

Well, you couldn't sterilize it...but you probably don't sterilize your dishes. To sanitize it just use soap and water like anything else. And it comes with a brush the right diameter and length to clean it out.

I liked the look and feel of the bamboo set, but if you really do want some that you can boil they make them in silicon, too.

They're even more expensive on Amazon. Fuckin lol.

The Trump Store is really a treasure trove of hilarious overpriced shit. Check out the $30 "American Worker" Hat. Or this MAGA 2020 hat which for some reason is even more expensive at $40.

Or my personal favorite, this pack of 2 Trump/Pence rally signs... for $10. Aren't these things supposed to be free? Especially for our very stable billionaire President?

Respirator, I also try and work outside when possible. Resin has seriously messed up my lungs before I used a mask. Some people probably don't use them, but the things I make require me to be close to my pieces.

These are the items I use for resin, I make jewelry and cabochons. (My mask is different.)
I've read / heard that latex isn't supposed to be used as gloves as it can interact with the chemicals in the resin. You're more than likely able to find the sticks, gloves, and cups in your local area for cheaper, and you won't have to cover shipping. Dollar store cups should work.

I just realized your Amazon list is from the UK. All of the links I posted above are from the US so I'm not sure if everything is sold in your area.

Have you ever researched resin making on Youtube? There's TONS of UK Youtubers who make resin things that will post links to stores they purchase from and give great tips. I can post some if you'd like.

Of course as the previous commenter posted, you'll need to grab molds, which can be found pretty decently priced on eBay.

I haven't been using resin for a super long time (maybe a year?) so there might be more experiences people who can give better advice, but this is what I use and my experience.

You can try these but I don't know if they would work since I've never melted them. There are some that are thicker walled (stronger) than others. I'm not sure how sound this idea is because it has a high chance of popping open in a purse if all it takes to open it is to squeeze it.

Shaming people isn’t the best way to get them to act a certain way, so that was a mistake on the waitress. I ask people if they want a straw and if they say no I say, “Save the turtles!” which elicits a positive response. Had she gone about it differently she could have made you feel good instead of bad.

However, you responded immaturely imo. Sounds like you’re not innocent either. And she does have a point, we need to cut back on plastic waste. Just buy a reusable straw and carry it with you.

I've never had good luck with the epoxy double sided syringes, the two sides have different viscosity and don't seem to come out evenly. ever since I switched to separate bottles and carefully measuring in mixing cups I've had much better luck with epoxy

Dart Solo Poly Paper Cold Cup

u/BrapAllgood · 1 pointr/treedibles

Took me forever to think of it...but these make it super easy to portion and store...and share! I warm the finished oil back up, then use a kitchen syringe (turkey baster works) to slurp it back up and make 1-ounce servings. If you ignore the very bottom layer and only draw from above it, you add one more level of purification in there, too. My oil sits on the counter for months without anything changing, while the rest of it chills in the freezer. If someone at work (in a cannafactory!) hurts themselves, I offer them an ounce of comfort easily, too.

It depends on what flavor of bubble tea you want and how much you want to make.

I personally became a fan of the fruity bubble teas. i.e: plum, grapefruit, yogurt green/black tea.

I ordered the syrups flavors that I liked online. You can find different syrup flavors here

You can purchase boba at local asian stores. I have not been in an asian grocery store that did not have it.

I then brew the strongest possible tea I can brew and chill it in the fridge. It's important to brew the tea as strong as you can because a small amount of syrup dilutes the tea flavor drastocally.

Once the tea is chilled, I pour 16 oz into a drink mixer I use my blender bottle. I then pour 1-2oz of syrup depending on the flavor and add half a tea spoon of honey, or sugar. You will have to play around with the amount of syrup and honey/sugar you add. I don't like my bubble teas too sweet. I shake the mixture for about 1 minute and (along with ice) pour it in a mason jar with a handle and use a reusable bubble tea straw.

If you want to add boba in your bubble tea:

Instead of pouring the mixture into a cup, I put the mixture in the fridge. I bring a pot of water to a rolling boil on a stove. I then reduce the heat to medium and add boba and stir until the boba floats. I cover the pot for 3 minutes and then turn off the heat and let the boba rest in the hot water for 3 minutes. If you don't like your boba too soft and chewy and want a firmer texture you can cook the boba for 2 minutes and let it rest in the hot water for 2 minutes.

Afterwards remove the boba from the hot water and chill it in cold water for 30 seconds. Then remove the boba from the cold water and mix it in simple syrup or honey. Alternatively, you can use a bubble tea syrup flavor (I have started to do this) to give your boba a different taste.

Add the boba to the cup you will use first, then ice, then remove the drink mixture from the fridge (give it an extra shake or two for good luck) and pour into the cup you will use.

u/sharpestcookie · 0 pointsr/HydroHomies

I don't even buy regular water bottles anymore. The Camelbak Eddy was the only one I tried, and it was good but I needed something bigger, that had or accommodated a straw, that would fit in my car's cupholder, and would keep drinks cold throughout the day and night.

I've gone through at least 20 vacuum bottles - in my cheapskatery, I became a collector - and the only two to stand the test of time are a 32oz and 68oz Aquatix. I've had them both for over 2 years now, and I've always felt that Hydroflasks are overpriced.

Lots of colors (for 32oz), very reasonably priced ($28 & $48), stays cold for 24hrs, and I suggest getting the silicone bottom sleeve for the 32oz. It didn't exist when I bought mine, and my bottle's dinged/scratched now. The 68oz definitely does NOT fit in a cupholder.

32oz: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TVO38F0/

68oz: https://www.amazon.com/Aquatix-Insulated-Stainless-thermos-Midnight/dp/B00UZCB3B8/

And these are the straws I bought for them, if you're interested. I stretched a straw out completely and cut it to size. When it's in the bottle, the cap seal compresses it upon closing - and it pops up again upon opening. Sometimes I have to fish the straw out of the spout, but I just use a pair of tweezers I keep in my pocket :D
