I wear glasses and had problems of them slipping frequently both socially and in competition. Then Adela Su, the amazing woman that she is, changed my life when she handed me a pair of these:

I've used Wedgees eyeglass retainers for several years. Thanks for the reminder -- time to change mine out!

Wenn das Kabel nicht besonders gepolt ist (was ich einigen Händlern durchaus zutrauen würde), kannst du ja auch einfach zu einem 2,5mm <> 3,5mm Kabel greifen:

I saved an old pair of glasses that are now only used as my running glasses.

I've got a pair of Wedgees permanently affixed to them. Works great, and I really prefer them to the wrap-around style retainers.

I think these are the things he used to keep his glasses from sliding. https://www.amazon.com/MOLDERP-Eyeglasses-Anti-Slip-Retainers-Sunglasses/dp/B07B6K9SZQ/

I'd never seen those before, but they look really useful. There are lots of different brands.

This. Best thing ever for yoga, hiking, inverted postures, digging around under a desk, etc. They hide well, and they're pretty comfortable--after a few days you won't even notice you're wearing them.

u/Never__Daunted · 3 pointsr/headphones

Yeah this has been going on for at least 2 weeks, my b-stock pair arrived last Wednesday.

Also if anyone gets these and has comfort issues with the earhooks, I recommend trying these to alleviate some of the pressure, they work extremely well for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074V7BPNL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00

I use these with my sunglasses. They’ll float your glasses in case they come off if you fall in.

I have them, they're pretty good and I love being able to run with open ears though you can definitely turn them up to a volume that will block out the sound of an approaching car. They're also not super hardened for sweat/water so the risk of frying them is there. That being said I sweat like a pig in the sun and have been using them this summer in New England and they're still running fine.

Audio wise, they're decent quality, but unsurprisingly the bass leaves a little to be desired.

Also make sure the pair you like fits your head. I got the Alto's simply because I hated the look of the Rondo and I basically have to attach them to my face with a pair of these

u/suhthrowaway · 2 pointsr/rollercoasters

I use these ones, has two little black tabs you pull and it tightens the glasses down all the way to your head. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GJ2WKG8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_POT3DbBAF4PK1

u/TheApiary · 2 pointsr/xxfitness

I just got these and now they don't slip around anymore! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B6K9SZQ

I wear them all the time, not just for exercise. They still bounce up and down a tiny bit, but they can't slide down.

I can't see a few feet ahead of me without them, so going without wasn't really possible

You're welcome. I use a glasses strap (Just something like this) and it works well; I've never had an issue with it. Some parks will make you remove your glasses and place them in a bin unless you have a strap, and a rare, annoying few will make you remove them regardless.

Whether or not a ride has bins for things like glasses, phones, etc varies wildly from park to park and even ride to ride within the same park. If you have a specific park in mind feel free to ask for advice regarding their policies. At most larger parks (think Six Flags, Cedar Point, etc) bags aren't allowed in line for the larger coasters and bins may or may not be available for smaller items. Paid lockers are almost always offered at parks if you have a lot of stuff or need to store items you'd be worried about getting stolen.

The hooks are ok but if you get sweaty, they can get a little stinky and can occasionally make your ears sore. I've also had issues with the quality of the hooks - some last for weeks, others tear 5 minutes after you put them on.

I switched over to Keep Ons and it's made a big difference. They last longer too - usually 3 or 4 weeks.

This is the newer version http://cdn.mobilesyrup.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/HTC-Vive-Pre-20.jpg

its just an usb hub I think. One is input and one is output.
It has a 3.5 audio jack aswell but thats audio over hdmi (=no microphone?) and its basically just an extension cable.

All the audio stuff is done in Windows.

I am sure every USB soundcard would work but my main problem is that I want one with good sound. Thats why I am here :D

These are the 3 more expensive ones that I found on Amazon

http://www.amazon.de/Soundkarte-Virtuelles-Surround-Tablet-PC-10-kompatibel/dp/B017NH8M0C

and I have no idea which one I should choose.

also would suggest getting your glasses tuned by a professional...

Get some temple tips.
Completely fixed that issue for me.

When I had glasses, this is what I used when running. Liked them so much, I used them everyday. You can find them cheap on amazon/ebay.

Tip - in case you have a small nose like me, the plastic frames without feet are going to fall of yo' face and you are going to want to murder them despite how cute they may appear. If you are going to get multiple frames (affordability is obviously a concern, but if you can, I recommend having at least two to switch things up) you could get a really light metal frame with feet which can be equally stylish. Theses have been life savers for me:

Also, contacts are life changing invention for sportier or more formal days when you don't want to deal with glasses.

Ive been wearing glasses to the gym for years now thanks to these guys:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00I9IFG86/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1449927975&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=wedgees&dpPl=1&dpID=51Na2vNrk1L&ref=plSrch.

They aren't super noticeable, oretty cheap, last 3-4 months per pair and they keep my glasses on my face and even reduced my glasses related headaches.

You may just need to secure them with something like this:

Try nerdwax on the bridge of your nose (specifically made to keep glasses from slipping). A sports strap could also work.

u/hermionebutwithmath · 1 pointr/xxfitness

These are lifesavers. I used them when I was in a jazz dance class that involved half an hour of literal-sweat-drops-on-the-floor conditioning immediately followed by spinny things. Your glasses will. not. budge.

u/opticianjuice · 1 pointr/glasses

Unfortunately, it's just a bad fit for you. I agree with having custom nosepads made by professionals. A cheaper option is Nerdwax
which may not work as well if you have oily skin or Anti-Slip Grips .
