Yes! I desperately wanted a medium sized, convertible backpack tote bag, and searched for years. It’s hard to find one that’s durable, comfortable, practical in its convertible-ness, and in my price range. But I found one! And I love it. Its so much more convenient then any purse or tote no matter what size or features it had. Too hot and don’t want to wear my coat? Fits in my bag! Going out all day and need to bring lunch? Conveniently fits with ease! Need a small cross body purse to carry while shopping? Lucky me it rolls in half and converts to crossbody!



I’m also keep my wallet inside a smaller purse inside my backpack to grab when I need something super small, I can just take it out and go.

On the road flying 2-3x a week (which is draining). Black compression leggings from Amazon are a godsend, my go-to bag is a light weight open tote (le pilafe by longchamps, LV Neverfull) coupled with a small backpack - usually from amazon as well i prefer soft ones w an internal zipper- the manufacturer shifts a lot but leather. I leave enough room so i can get enough of the leather bag into the top so it is “one” carry on but it allows me when exiting the plane to throw the backpack on my back and stow water bottle and wrap and laptop or iPad into the tote and that sits on top of my roller bag. There i get a new one at least annually- hard sided and small enough to go internationally.

My main thing is several small bags so each item has a spot- bag of dry toiletries, bag of “liquids” bag for cords, bag for pens etc. as it allows me to check quickly that i have everything and everything is in its place

You may find that a deep purse like that one is more frustrating than helpful, as everything gets lost.

Seconding /u/Ploppers00. A backpack purse might be your best bet! They have some really really cute ones for cheap - $25, $24, $70.

A backpack purse + zippered pouches to keep things organized inside might be your best bet here. I really like these because they're waterproof and machine washable.

IDK your personal style but this is small and cute. This is a little more sleek and trendy.

They make purses that turn into backpacks that I have used to travel all over Europe and as a great plane carry on.

Not OP, but this is the Ita Double Window Candy Leather Backpack. It’s on amazon. I have the Ita bowknot window bag, and I like it. It seems well made, and it’s sturdy.

This one doesn’t look quite as awful. Also about 78 ratings at 4.5 stars compared to the 6 at 4 stars.

I realize this isn't the most expensive bag but at this point in my life it is an investment for me.

I'm still working on cultivating my own style and I think this would make a wonderful addition. I think my ideal look is minimalist chic.

I found this backpack through this sub so I think it would be a good purchase but just need that reassurance to spend the money lol. Preferably from someone who knows about it.

I'm a guy and have terrible fashion advice, but if I were to get a purse, I would get something like this Purse. It's black, it can be held by your hand, can go over one shoulder, it worn like a book bag and strapped over both shoulders. Not super fancy and won't stick out. But when I carry my wife's purse for her, I hate it going across my body or just over one shoulder bc then it falls off, so this gives you the power of all 3.

If she's not into a back pack style bag, I would recommend this Purse. It's made out of a canvas material so it's not going to feel as stiff as a leather purse may feel, it also has a shoulder strap that can go Cross body if wanted. It's also big enough to hold a magazine with out having to fold it in half.

I know you said "no backpack", but cross-body bags are difficult to pull off with large breasts. With them you basically got two options: Either you don't care how it looks and wear a cross-body bag anyway or you do care and forgo them in favour of backpacks and totes.
