Better tip: Get hemp wick.

Best tip: Also get yourself a Flicwic / Toker Poker in order to make storing and using your hemp wick more of a constant thing in your life. Pairing it with your lighter will nearly guarantee its use. :D

Do us all a a favor, yourself included, and buy a pack of clippers on amazon!! You can then:

Replace the flint easily and at will

Refill with butane at your leisure

Use it to pack down your bowls or to line up your j grinds

Generally save your hard-earned cash

Be winning at life instead of buying tons of lighters

etc

cheers ;)

Buy these.

Not from this link--they'll probably be cheaper locally.

Pull the lighter from the shell. Underneath by the wadding, you'll see a brass screw. Remove screw, and you'll find a long spring on the end. At this point, the jammed nubbin of flint under the wheel can be removed by spinning the wheel in the opposite direction. Should just fall out.

Put a new flint in the tube, replace sping & screw assembly. Body back into shell. Resume practicing Zippo tricks. You could even fit a spare flint behind the first, but depending on the spring this can make the wheel harder to turn.

Speaking of which, the first few flicks of the flint may be difficult to strike. That's normal and the flint will "break in" fairly quickly.

Last time, I think I bought mine in an overpriced cigar shop at the mall. If I were buying today, I would go with Amazon for flint, lighter fluid, and [wick] (http://www.amazon.com/Ronson-RONSON-Wick-5-inch/dp/B007C48B9O).

When I used to smoke I found the flints were the most frequent replacement and the butane and lighter body were virtual lifetime supplies. Here is a flint link. If you got set off amazon and get off brand stuff (also you only need a single lighter body they don't really go bad) and use hemp wick you could have an actual lifetime supply of lighting for like 30 bucks.

word i used to use that back in the day. but the problem with it is the wick is exposed to the elements. so things like dust, hair, hand oils etc stick to the bees wax and contaminate the wick and thats kinda defeating the purpose of using it in the first place as those elements create toxic carcinogens when ignited it combust and inevitable gets inhaled. it also doesnt have a poker built into it like id rather use the [toker poker] (https://www.amazon.com/Toker-Poker-Black/dp/B00HCOTX6E) over the hemplights for that reason if i had too. i dont know why but there is very few hemp wick lighter dispensers that have the wick enclosed in a case and all of them that i can find unfortunately are made for use with the mini bic lighters. the best one ive used was the [FlickWic] (https://www.amazon.com/Dispenser-Lighter-I-Tal-Spool-FlicWic/dp/B01HTX1WS4) not on amazon atm [direct link] (http://www.flicwic.com/). but i hate the mini bic lighters they are hard for me to light i have big fingers and tiny stuff just doesnt work for me. so like a few years ago i fabricated my own wick dispenser that my lighterbro slides into snugly. wish i could just take a picture would be alot easier to explain.. but essentially i just made a small box out of wood and wood glue that fits around the lighterbros base. then added a metal pipe feeder that runs from the wood box to the top of the lighter for the snuffer and just used strong super glue to attach the pipe to the wood box. then just put a wooden spool inside the box that feeds directly into the snuffer pipe through a small hole in the wood box. the wick box attaches and detaches fairly easily lil tug and a push or two so im not left with an somewhat cumbersome wick box when i dont need it. but its strong and tight enough to not fall off and or break used that thicc wood so its pretty durable. i have drooped it from the top of ladders on to concrete several times and only dented it a bit. sorry for the book im a bit of a hemp wick connoisseur, both my physical and mental health improved so much after i stopped using butane that im very advocate for simple better life choices like that now.
